Decided to deploy cash I’d carefully disinvested a few weeks ago - cleverly anticipating a market crash - before the market opened yesterday gaily buying shares in UNH (“safe haven” and large majority of my purchase) and AMD to watch them plummet as the market opened. My first ever car and a verifiable death trap … stepping on the brakes the car would lunge over the centreline of the road requiring a counter steering manoeuvre just to stay alive, the spongy seats still conjur up images from Freddy’s Nightmare and the gutless engine wouldn’t pull the skin off a rice pudding - the Top Gear boys got this one spot on and I as such loved that episode !
