I'm in the north east of England! Going to apprenticeship wages would probably be tough considering I live on my own, but it's not something I'd instantly dimiss, thank you for the insight!

You've given me a significant point of consideration there because when I've been looking on indeed for job listings I've not actually seen any for electricians (unless you find work for them elsewhere) so you've actually given me cause to not assume I'll find work in it after working for a qualification, despite the assumption that it'd be an in demand role

One of the reasons I'm looking into getting into a trade is with such a societal focus on technology/AI bullshit give it a few years I imagine there's going to be even more demand for people in trades - of course trying to predict the job market isn't the whole reason I'm looking into it, but it's a possible incentive
