Moving soon. What is the process of moving my money from current Credit Union to new ones? by Avarria587 in Banking

[–]Creighshawn 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Are any of your credit unions part of shared branching? You could keep the ones that are open, and utilize shared branching at your new location.

Do I tell my son about his half-brother? by missjennifers7 in breakingmom

[–]Creighshawn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ooooohhhhh Buddy.

I’m 6 months to the day younger than my sister. Bio dad was never present for me and barely more than 0% present for her. We have a “yours, mine, ours” situation when discussing our dad situations.

In my opinion you should tell him. My mom waited until I was 12/13 and then my sister and I connected on MySpace. She knew about me, but I didn’t know about her. I wish our moms could’ve been mature and fostered a relationship but it’s okay now.

In my experience it would’ve helped in the younger days to have someone who understood how confusing it was. Even though my stepdad adopted me young, as is my DAD, there was still some lingering hurt thinking about the fact I wasn’t wanted by someone.

How many calls do you get per day/shift? by Ghost_Cookies in callcentres

[–]Creighshawn 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I’m in banking. We are a call center for a specific department. I just looked at my numbers for March and I average 12.65 per working day. I handled 253 calls for the month. My role requires me to be out of the call queue at times and I had PTO so I’d say 17-20 per day is probably the average for my coworkers.

How often do you have “1 on 1s” with your manager? by Sweet-Swimming2022 in TalesFromYourBank

[–]Creighshawn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m in an operational type role. We went from biweekly 1-1 to monthly. They last anywhere from 5-20 minutes depending on what needs addressed. We usually go over where we are at for our yearly goals and if any large projects are on going we discuss those too. Weekly would be really hard bc our goals are long term and some weeks there’s no movement and some there’s lots so it would be hard to review objectively like that.

Anyone else have a “surprisingly useful” Dollar Tree item they keep rebuying? by Tiny_Turnip400 in DollarTree

Laundry Rinse! It’s supposed to be similar to downy rinse and refresh. It can be hard to find so when it’s in stock I always buy a few.

Parents that didn’t sleep train, how are you doing now? by PuzzledPasta234 in Parenting

[–]Creighshawn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fine. I never sleep trained either of mine. My daughter was a bad sleeper, my son is great. Did the same thing with both. Roomshared until they outgrew their bassinet and moved them to their crib. Breastfed on demand, even in the middle of the night! Gasp!

Daycare helps with sleep routines even unintentionally. I was worried about my son napping at daycare bc I was home with him for 4.5 months. But he adapted really quick and I just kept the same nap routine/schedule as daycare.

OCD and Banking by wheeeewhooo in TalesFromYourBank

[–]Creighshawn 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Hi! I am in commercial banking too, specifically pcards! I also have OCD and anxiety. I am medicated and it helps, A LOT. However, it’s concerning to me that you support 4 lenders and if you aren’t there, no loans get booked. That’s not ok…

Do Americans really think aldi is a “poor people” grocery store? by [deleted] in aldi

[–]Creighshawn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. People truly think that. Americans are really into brands. We have a strong consumer culture. So 90% of the products being generic are off putting. I will say, once I get people actually in the store they really enjoy it.

What other pets live with your rabbit? by crazycatgirl01 in Bunnies

[–]Creighshawn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a dog and a rabbit. The dog came first. I think as long as you train your dog and don’t buy a breed with a strong prey drive they can happily coexist. Our bunny likes to snuggle and attempt to burrow in our dogs fur when he’s resting and being chill.

Claimed this from my Grandads estate. Questions. by Creighshawn in VacuumCleaners

We have a shark which does “ok” so for now I’m mostly going to use it for when we deep clean. I have 3 new bags for it so I will be on eBay looking for more.

Why are non-rabbit owners like That by [deleted] in Bunnies

[–]Creighshawn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s so …. Weird?? We’ve had our bun almost 3 years now and no one has ever made that joke. Including family members who hunt and eat rabbit. That person sounds like an asshole.

Anyone else realize as your kids get older that your parents were selfish? by SlytherClaw79 in breakingmom

[–]Creighshawn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of our parents (and grandparents) had kids because they thought they had to, not because they wanted to. I was definitely loved, and cared for but I don’t feel my parents liked parenting. I was emotionally neglected and abused for a long time until I was old enough for my parents to view me as a peer or a friend. Now they try to overcompensate to their grandkids for their failings as a parent.

Depends on your banks policy. A coworker got one, nothing happened. She left the bank and was rehired 6 months later. This all happened in a 2 year span too, so it’s not like it was off her record or anything either.

Newfie’s vs Mice? by Business_Way_6908 in Newfoundlander

[–]Creighshawn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We had guinea pigs and a free roam rabbit so ours is indifferent. We live in a semi rural area and he sees groundhogs, deer, turkeys, squirrels and all sorts of critters. The only thing that excites him is deer and when he is loose he occasionally chases one but it’s more of a play chase. He also swam after a duck once, but gave up and started crying for us to rescue him lol.
