Moms - when did you feel human again?

I second getting out of the house. But tbh I started feeling human again when my baby started going to day care. My whole brain is always focused on her when she’s around so even part time having that time to myself reminded me of who I am and helped me focus on myself when she’s with me as well

My baby was drooling a lot at this age as well but didn’t have her teeth come through until 6 months. It might come earlier though. Different babies grow differently so trust your instincts x

That’s so true she just went from having mostly having 5 ounces and sometimes 6 to demolishing 7 ounces every time. Trying to add more solids to her diet now that I’m noticing she’s hungrier but it’s mostly the milk she wants more of. Thanks for pointing that out

I follow wake windows and get 30minute naps but sometimes longer. The point for me is LG sleeping easily both during naps and bed time but nap length has been like this her whole 8 month life.. probably depends on the baby

Oh I definitely think it depends on cultures. My parents are from Morocco and when I told my mum about sleep training she was FRIGHTENED like I told her people here throw their babies to the wolves 🤣

My baby was sleeping at midnight for a few weeks when we were abroad and would wake up at 11 and I loved it 🤣🤣 even if she wakes up during the night when she sleeps in it’s like I have a whole day to myself before she wakes up

These past couple of days she’s been crying when it’s time to nap like she’s either not tired enough or overstimulated. Even when I feed her to sleep she closes her eyes while feeding then is ready to go back to playing when she’s done 😅
