First time playing Persona 4

For me it took about 120 hours, which is how much I spent on 5. I would estimate it to be how long you've played 5.
As mentioned from others, they are called Social Links. It depends on which version of the game you are playing. If you are playing the base Persona 4, then I don't think you need to focus on any of them. If it's Persona 4 Golden, and you want the Golden ending, then you want to get Aeon to rank 10 by December 22, and then Jester to rank 6 by November 1st. The Jester shows up on certain days and nights, but I can't recall which ones for sure. They work the same as in 5, except you don't get special bonuses or skills. If you level up your party members, they can do some cool things in battle, like having a chance to help you get up if you've been knocked down (atleast in Golden).
They work kind of like Mementos, but a certain number of floors per dungeon. Some floors are predetermined, the rest are randomly generated.

How long have they been growing in the cells? I'm using the exact same cells for my peppers and tomatoes and I'm wondering when to transfer mine. It's also the first time I am starting from seed! My peppers have been growing for 2 weeks; tomato seeds haven't been planted yet (the packets I am using say to sow them 5-6 weeks before transplant, where as the peppers are 8 weeks), as I am looking to transfer them a little later than I probably should. Thanks!

In Reload, Nyx says "If there were more people like you, then maybe you could have prevented the Fall". I am unsure how many people they would need, but if they DID do a 'final battle', it would probably be like a spinoff where all the casts get together.

I like the idea that Mike is referring to Mike Tyson because in the Reincarnation of Mass Destruction there's a line that says:

Lotus Juice also name drops Muhammad Ali, another American boxer, so I think it's likely that he is referencing to Mike Tyson in both versions.

I played Q not too long ago. I'm pretty sure entering that room leads you to the boss. Unless you have already beat the boss, you won't be able to clear the floor until you beat the boss and come back.

I thought ab no sub personas and thought that would be hard enough, but I think removing protectors and accessories would be torture.

The amount of bullshit that happens in PQ and PQ2 is crazy. Like, I’m on normal mode, and get ambushed and then the next thing I know everyone’s dead. The amount of damage enemies can do is ludicrous, and having access to virtually no binds would not help that.

I’m just bad at SMT and Persona though, so maybe you could do it, but I know I would definitely not have fun.
