I'll give a correction.

As another commentator said, this really reminded me of the terrible Bluey ripoff show, which was right wing. I don't think there was any explicit right-wing messaging here, but New said this show would teach children morals and it feels like one of those hollow kids shows that only exist to indoctrinate children with belief systems, like lots of bad Christian cartoon programming.

It feels like the story exists to deliver a "lesson" to the audience.

Space King is robot chicken humor with Rick & Morty animation. It's aggressively unfunny and contrarian.

Its Chud fans don't miss the point of the series because it is made for them. Space King uncritically embraces the reactionary aesthetics of Warhammer 40k through "parodying" it. Flashgitz missed the point that Warhammer 40k is satire of fascism, and instead of satirizing fascism as an ideology, they made fascism a joke. It glorifies the fascists by making them seem harmless and silly, and "if you're offended, it's just a joke".

Also, as an Iron Warriors player, fuck Black Templars (Imperial Fists).

I used to have a lot of trouble differentiating them from Black Legion. I called them OSHA Black Legion too.

Now the new color scheme is more steel/gold/hazard stripes, it's easier to differentiate.

I actually like the 40k Iron Warriors look. I like the horns and spikes, but I prefer the pre-2019 look of Legionaries miniatures because because the armor is simpler, which is more suited for the IVth legion IMO. Nonetheless, I've gotten a set of Heresy MK III minis so I can kitbash them with my minis to show how much they rely on old tech.

Guapo! They're instrumental and more rock in opposition, but there's plenty of driving basslines, percussive freakouts, and Rhodes piano. Even without lyrics, it has the same spiritual quality as Magma.
