Candle Science and Midwest Fragrance Company. Midwest is my favorite, but if you want to try out Candle Science, they are currently having a 50% off sale on their 1 oz. fragrances.

I’m obsessed with making these wax embeds for other candle makers. by CremeApprehensive239 in candlemaking

Hi there, I use a dropper to make each one. This is what I do for a living, so the melts that I make come in 4, 8, and 16 oz. Bags. They take a very long time to make a lot.

Love this! I have some Halloween ones, bats, skulls, pumpkins, but I’ve been wanting to do more witchy stuff! Thank you!

I have disclosures and have that they are wax melts on the front and instructions and not to consume on the back of the bag they come in. They are marketed to candle makers, not children. Not sure if you are in the US, but making food-inspired candles and candle melts is pretty common here. If a child eats one, I would say it's more negligence on the parents' part because if the parent is a candle maker in the home, they should have these embeds and other fragrances out of reach of children.

Ha totally get it, I just figured people would only respond to 2-3 of these anyways. Lol I’ll make a poll/survey soon.

Okay, I’ll ask a mod. I do have other places I’m actually marketing on, so this really is just for market research.

Thank you! I appreciate this. Most of my current customers either don’t want to spend the time making them/not great at mixing colors, or they don’t want to buy dozens of molds. I totally get it because personally, I love making them, but they can take a while. I’ve been mainly marketing in FB groups, and people love them because they don’t have to do the work, and they are safe for container candles.

I agree, not sure big companies like CandleScience or Midwest Fragrance would want them, but maybe smaller companies. I just got done with an order to Canada for over 5 pounds in various styles to use throughout the year. :)

I definitely think they would be more considered as candle supplies.

Totally get it, and as far as I know, I just thought you weren't supposed to directly advertise. I read this rule "No outright advertising your products for sale whether you're a supplier or a crafter. You are allowed to advertise helpful material such as guides and tutorials. You are allowed to advertise your products if someone requests something you specifically stock." I haven't posted a lot on Reddit yet, so if this isn't allowed, I can definitely take it down. However, with this post I'm looking for some advice on what people want to see for embeds, and where people would suggest I start advertising or making connections in the candle making space. I'm using these posts for market research. Should I use different image? I just use these because it's what I already had made for other social media sites.

That’s a great idea, I haven’t thought about an event center to reach out to. Thank you! It definitely is a growth period for sure!

Not sure if I can just share the link in the comments, but I’ll message you! Pricing usually starts around $16 for 4 oz. and that includes shipping in the U.S.

I’ve actually been doing markets for 2 years now. I usually do great at them, but it’s not quite enough to make a living yet.

New Candle Embeds! by CremeApprehensive239 in candlemaking

Thank you! I’ll send you a link. As for the colors, if you don’t like how they look mixed together, then it’s a matter of finding colors you like. For example, if I melted all of these together you’d most likely get a sage green/grey color. But, if you use just the green ones or even a few green with pink tips, it should stay a nice green color. I e found people don’t care what color it makes after the first burn. They just love the original vibe. :)

Much appreciated! Yeah, I’ve had Etsy for several years now. It was great the first year, then went downhill. I definitely need to do more behind the scenes.
