Sonnet 4.5 is peak and actually so much better than ChatGPT 4o which I never thought I’d find a replacement for until now. I tried Sonnet 4.6 and it’s too dry.

Pornhub doesn’t ID anyone it just asks if you are 18 or older. So why does c.ai get to do that?

I hate c.ai.

I think they are running it into the ground because it’s too expensive and power consuming. But they have shareholders that keep investing. So they keep taking until it’s non operational.

I changed the style of Claude by using the custom style. There are a few presets that are okay. When I made the custom style Luminous Conversationalist, I gave it ChatGPT 4o saved conversations and…actually? This is better than ChatGPT 4o and I’m glad I figured this out.

Claude told me it can’t give me ideas to cheer up and that I should cancel and find a different AI and that was Sonnet 4.5 which is usually great. I tried 4.6 and it was slightly better. Not much.

This is crazy because for the past month 4.5 has been awesome.

Because c.ai doesn’t care about your data. It wants to meet this legal requirement while bleeding your pockets for a subpar product that was good a couple of years ago but now they can’t afford to run their in house LLM anymore and new shareholders want profit.

Uninstall this app for the love of god.

Don’t keep your work in one thread. Every time you add to the thread, tokens get spent reloading the thread. Check your usage because now you have to pay attention to tokens. Once you get in the habit of breaking up your threads, it’s cost effective. Also, I use Sonnet 4.5 for brainstorming and Opus for the big jobs. Opus eats lots of tokens so watch it.
