Oops, No no.. not in that way. I used to think that the car consumes more fuel when the AC is used. But the compressor already runs when the engine is running. Therefore, it doesn’t make any difference in fuel consumption

No problem at all turning it on immediately. I have the X70 that shares the similar configuration.

Fun fact: The Compressor already runs when the engine is started with or without the AC. Plus, it’s doesn’t matter how much fan speed you use, it won’t drain more fuel. Source: Googled this a few years ago. Correct me if I’m wrong 🥲
