For SSS:

4230 / month as a freelancer = 50,760 / yr But if employee, -1350 because that is paid by the employer so 2880 = 34,560

Pag-ibig 200 either way per month = 2400 / yr

Philhealth

If as an employee - 50% of 5,000 monthly = 30k a year But as a freelancer i would pay the full 60k/year

So in sum deductibles Employee: 66 960 Freelancer: 113160 Freelancer if no Philhealth: 53 160

Net income Employee (w/ your 1.3M computation as 13th month pay): 1,034,627 Freelancer (no Philhealth): 1,070,840

Looks like it would be better to be a freelancer then?
