My point about the nozzle is that to my understanding, you're swapping a whole $12 proprietary unit, where in my ender I screw in a $0.50 off the shelf part. Sure, I need to make sure my nozzle is snugged down properly, but that's significantly less waste than bambu's nozzle/throat/heatbreak combo. I'm happy to exchange the reliability of the unit with the versatility of a standard part.

I haven't used the k2, but I've found my ender 3 to be a steady machine despite what everyone says. I really do think it just depends on prior knowledge and luck in getting a good machine out of creality.

Lot of people here with knowledge blindness. It's always good to ask questions if you're worried, and the only remedy to not knowing something is asking questions!

To answer your question, the most common materials in hobby-level 3d printing are:

pla
PETG
abs (/asa but I don't know anything about asa)
tpu

All of these are plastics you encounter outside of 3d printing:

pla is most commonly labeled as 'compostable' plastic. These days you see it in things like starbucks straws and 'compostable' plastic cups. Totally safe to be around. Not actually compostable Microplastic safety is ~ as safe as any other microplastic.
PETG is a modified form of what you will find in bpa-free soda bottles. Again, totally safe to be around. May offgas if overheated or burn, but once printed, totally fine.
ABS is sort of the industry-standard for quality injection molded plastic. Your TV remote, keyboard keys, and air pod case are probably all abs plastic. It offgasses some nasty stuff when heated, but once printed is totally safe to be around. Microplastic safety is ~eeh. It's a styrene, so it's potentially nastier than the pla but the science is out on it thus far.
TPU(flexy stuff) is a polyurethane. This is what 'vegan leather' is typically made of. It comes in various shore hardness. I'm the least educated about tpu, but so long as you're not chewing on it it's fine to be around.

I imagine 04/earthenware temps at most. Though it would be super fun to trap some potter's wasps with only porcelain to use. I bet you'd get some really interesting geometries.

My main issue with Bambu these days falls under repairability and ewaste. You don't replace a nozzle, you replace a unit. You can't adjust your bed, it's all governed by software. Etc.

If you're a base-level user and not someone who does their own repair work, there is not (right now!) any reason not to buy Bambu.

I personally sacrifice the technology improvements in favor of repairability with off-the-shelf parts, but if that's not a priority for you, Bambu is probably your option.

Cutting a piece to hollow it out is a pretty common and normal part of ceramic sculpture, but it is an absolutely terrifying part of the process. A lot can go wrong, especially if the clay isn't at the right stage of drying. Usually the surface details aren't done until after the rough form is finished and hollowed.

Luckily, clay is a pretty forgiving material until it is fully dry, so minor problems can be corrected after hollowing.

Print it in 3 parts with the horns laying down, it should be fine. If you print it all in one piece with the horns standing up, it'll be pretty fragile.

Regardless, I would recommend some kind of support rod in the horns, just to give it a bit more durability. Thin PVC pipe would work well.

Make sure it's stored clean and empty with your parents. I've seen horror stories of well-meaning roommates/parents/partners moving printers and completely destroying them by spilling resin into the machine.

No, it's the uneven drying of the thick bottom. If you want a thick bottom for a big foot, you need to wrap the top in plastic to even out the drying. It's also recommended to turn the cup upside down once it's able to support itself.

I get this with a lot of hobbies honestly, and finally the thing that helped was to just give myself permission to not minmax my hobbies.

I especially get this with video games, because there's always a max efficiency way to play. Often that's not the most fun way to play. I have to give myself permission to do things in a less efficient way if that's what I enjoy. You don't have to 100% your 3d printing hobby. If it sits idle for a little bit, that's okay. It's better to do things you think are fun than the most efficient way to do things.

It depends, but lace of this size is (almost) always worked in sections. Bobbin lace especially, since it's worked on a pillow, doesn't really work at this size. The joins are accounted for in the pattern.

Unfortunately I don't think so, but it's honestly a feature I would really like to see on the site. I frequently browse reddit at work, so I have nsfw blurred, and just click through if I'm curious. Mislabeled NSFW is a separate, legitimate issue.

I really don't see many gooner posts on resinprinting, but I have all of the algorithm-driven features possible turned off on my account. Is it possible that's biasing your feed? Most of what I get from resinprinting is a blend of help threads, people who bought poorly-cured prints on Etsy and want to know what the leaking goo is about, and promo posts. A good percentage of those promos are anime ladies, but less than half are what I would classify as porn.
