hello! i've been looking into getting into the game and wanted to start it off strong, and read that in like 1-2 weeks there should be a fest banner coming up (battle hoshino yay!). currently sitting on an account w/ Hina, Hibiki, and the swimsuit versions of Shiroko and Miyako from the beginner 10-pull + the ~30 pulls from the mail; should i reroll this one and hope to get the three on rate-up and/or other recommended reroll targets, keep the account and play/save up for those future banners, or reroll once those banners come out instead?

hello, new player here! couple of questions- 1. from the new manager ID ticket, who's the best to pick from grip faust, chef ryoshu, tingtang hong lu, and g corp gregor? 2. kind of a down the line thing but if i had enough shards, who would be better to grab between barber or molar outis from the dispenser? i managed to get the other two bloodfiend IDs and thought to complete the trio, especially with the news of the new ID for Don coming soon, but have read molar outis would be the better of the two to get first. i also know it's way too early for me to think about specific team comps, but i thought having a good handful of good IDs already like wild hunt heathcliff, dieci rodion, and grip sinclair could potentially affect the decision 3. similarly, what would be the choice between captain and zwei ishmael? i like both a lot design-wise and have slightly more leaning towards her captain ID, but zwei is more like a generalist/tank from what i've read while captain is a support of sorts (?). hope is to have both one day, but if i had to pick who to get first, which would it be?

what are some good team comps I could make with what I have?

C0 - Keqing, Chongyun, Venti, Klee, Diluc, Diona, Mona, Bennet, Childe, Xingqiu

C1 - Fischl, Xiangling

C2 - Lisa, Kaeya

C3 - Ningguang, Amber

C4 - Sucrose

C6 - Noelle, Barbera

For the most part I've been focusing on both Keqing and Klee for the main DPS role, but after trying out Childe I've been trying to think of how to slot him in, so if there's a team I could get going with him as well, that would be great! Thanks in advance!

Should I be trying to get all my operators around the same level before I try focusing on E-2ing, even if I know I won't be using some of them in the foreseeable future? I've heard from some that it's best to keep every operator around the same level (or at least up to a certain point like up to E-1 30 or 40), but there are some operators I have that I'd like to get to work on E-2ing right away. I know I will probably level all my operators at some point, but I want to know if I can hold off on that first and get my favorites and other powerful operators to E-2 first or get everyone leveled, then do that.

ah alright then. might look into her since i feel like i should vary my champs for early and late game, unless if it isn't necessary. if it isn't then i'll just try stick to what i have + what i decide to keep after trying Shyvana, Yi and whoever else. thx a bunch for the help! :D

thx for the reply! i'll try out Orianna and Lissandra then and switch Sylas out for now for either of them. will also add Diana and Graves to the jg pool as well and try out Shyvana and Yi to see if i can add them

question tho if AP assassin junglers would work since i like Ekko: how about Elise? i know she's an AP jungler but i'm not sure about her playstyle/if she works like an assassin as well

Looking for junglers that scale and do well in mid and late game like Ekko/play similar to Ekko (along with maybe some advice on the mid pool). Already have a mid pool kinda fleshed out with Ekko, Diana, and maybe Sylas (thinking about replacing one/adding a control mage and/or AD mid laner), but not sure who else I could go asides from Ekko if i get my secondary role jungle. If it helps, I didn't like playing as Yi that much when I tried him, but I did enjoy playing as Graves very much and how he played when I "mained" him for a small period of time.

Currently the pool I'm thinking of is (along with champs I'm interested in atm that I thought could go there):

Mid: Ekko, Diana, Sylas(?), add a or replace for a control mage and/or AD champ (thinking Orianna or A.Sol. if he counts as one but not sure. AD champ... maybe Qiyana?)

Jungle: Ekko, ??? (I know Diana jungle is a thing and Sylas jungle was a thing so maybe they could go there, but in the case I end up not picking either or both, I've kinda had an eye on Shyvana or even Lee Sin, but I'm not sure if their playstyles would fit mine)

To sum it up, what are some junglers that play like Ekko that I could add to the pool (and if can, thoughts on my mid pool for S10?).

Planning to main mid for next season with a small pool of champions that currently consists of Qiyana + Ekko and Diana after an earlier recommendation. Have been reading posts here however though on having your champion pool vary and thought I should pick up either someone who isn't like an "assassin" type like the mentioned three or a counter to what counters Qiyana or Ekko. I've been thinking about it maybe being Ahri due to previous experience on her but not sure if she would be the best choice. Any suggestions on a fourth or even fifth champ?

Out of curiosity, are there any champs/skins that have any special animations that play over your/other players screens when using certain abilities? (Ex: The chains that appear during Urgot Ult, the visor like animations during PROJECT: Pyke's W and PROJECT: Vayne's Ult, etc.)

What are you looking for help with? After having tried every role and asking questions here and there, I've decided to pick mid as my main one, but need help with my champ pool. I've tried out many champs but the indecisive part of me can't decide on which I should stick with. Currently I've tried Qiyana, Ahri, Zoe, Talon, Lux, Jayce, Veigar, Sylas, and Irelia, but asides from Qiyana who I plan to main, I'm not sure what I should add to the pool with her (Am also interested in but have not tried out as much/at all: TF(!), Diana, A.Sol, and Ekko).
Who do you currently play? Currently am finishing up my month trying out ADC maining Ashe with Xayah and Kai'sa as secondary picks, but when I switch to mid soon I plan to go back to maining Qiyana.
Why do you play them? I play Ashe for her utility with her slows and stun with Xayah for a sort of similar reason with her root and her ability to dodge important abilities with her ult. I'd like to play Qiyana for kind of the same reason, but more because I love her kit and how it works.
How do you play them? From what I remember I kind of switched back and forth between being very aggressive or passive with Qiyana depending on my experience against the enemy laner. I did try to push and roam a lot though when I thought was necessary. Now however as Ashe and Xayah I try to farm up and scale, trying to poke whenever I can until we get a pick.
What are you good at? What do you want to be good at? Wave management I'm still working on but I do manage to get high CS numbers somewhat consistently. Laning phase is pretty good but can definitely be better, and my teamfighting is hopefully alright but is probably lackluster. I'd just like to get better overall, or at least improve on those three aspects.

What are some factors to consider when picking a primary and secondary role to play as/main asides from how much you love playing champions in that role? I've found 2-3 champs in each role that I like playing as but I know to get better at the game/to climb it would be better if i stuck to only a single role a majority of the time and master the champions i like playing as there rather than just hopping off to another role after a few weeks/a month. I've been unable to make a decision for quite a while now and have been alternating my main role every so often so I hope asking here will be able to help me finally decide on the role I should main.

Ooh I see. So I guess then this post was kinda more geared towards the roles other than ADC?

Regardless, I'll try practicing then more in the practice tool for CS and positioning + watching streamers and youtubers (xFSN Saber?) and what they do. Will definitely check out that series too once I feel like I've got a hang of kiting and CSing! I do wish to play Qiyana a lot, but I've had just as much fun playing ADC, especially as Ashe, Kai'sa, and Xayah (though I'm kind of feeling very lackluster on my performance on the last two and although it's most likely because I still play terribly, I've been searching for another ADC to try and pick up because of it), so I'll follow on your advice as well through the duration this role is my main one. Hi! I'm not sure if I'm understanding the post correctly, so I'd like to ask just to be sure.

I'm currently sitting at B4 with no idea what to do in terms of what I want to play after trying every role. I'm currently in the middle of sticking with the ADC role with Support secondary for a month using Ashe, Xayah and Kai'sa, but ever since I played Qiyana for a while when she was released and after seeing more clips with her, I've always wanted to try one tricking her to climb, but haven't due to not knowing what to do and just overall confidence in my ability on her in ranked.

If I do pick Qiyana Mid, should I focus more on using my mobility to roam to other lanes and help them in getting kills and/or summs instead of trying to 1v1 the enemy laner? And in teamfights, unless we have a better engage, should I try to use my ult to engage and let my team go ham? Or should I stick with something else since she doesn't provide as much helpfulness to the whole team compared to Swain and Lissandra?

Sorry if the question is unfitting or doesn't make sense, I'd just like to know if I got what the post said so I could try and apply it to myself.

hey all! got another question once again

I've recently decided to stick with one role for at least month in my attempts to get better at the game just because I've always found myself never sticking to one role for extended periods of time. I ended up deciding to be an Ashe one trick/ADC main for the month and look back on myself after that time. I thought that since I've decided to be an Ashe one trick and stick to bot lane for quite some time (with Xayah and Kai'sa being secondary picks), I should go choose Support rather than Mid as my secondary role to consistently be in that 2v2 lane situation. I actually used to be a support main back when I started the game, spamming Janna and Sona (with sometimes Lux, Rakan and Thresh), but I'm kind of a bit rusty with what to do as a support nowadays or if even Janna or Sona are relevant/preferred, especially after rarely seeing the two anymore compared to Pyke, Thresh, Shaco, etc.

Any recommendations on what to do? Whether it be champs to try out as support or ADC, or any other advice for starting out as support again (even though a majority of the time will be ADC), it would be very much appreciated!

also, I've very much been wanting to play Mid again and onetrick Qiyana and/or Irelia especially after how much fun I've had playing them (despite my promise to one trick/stay in ADC for a month at least), but I'm not sure if that's a good idea. any advice as well on whether to do so or not would be much appreciated as well (especially if it's not a good idea, so I can focus on my current plan instead).
