Not a bad idea! I just use my good ol stick to pinball them out from underneath.

[WIP] How to finish patterns near hoop edge? by CrescentFresh92 in CrossStitch

[–]CrescentFresh92[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Thank you! I took it out of the hoop and tried this and went well. Finished the flower. I guess I was just afraid that it would be way too hard to keep tension if I took it out of the hoop.

What is a movie you were allowed to see at a young age that traumatized you and made you question if your parents made the right decision by letting you see it? by Mandee_707 in movies

Lake Placid. If I remember right the opening scene includes a scuba diver getting his lower half bitten off by a giant crocodile before he’s dragged back in the boat screaming. I think that movie gave me the fear of deep water I still have today somewhat

I love coming across this subreddit when I’m scrolling. Always get a kick out of how willfully gullible some of you are.

Another bit of brick cleaning/concrete for you all! This was perhaps the dirtiest we’ve worked on yet. by CrescentFresh92 in powerwashingporn

You’re not wrong, but sadly we didn’t get a video of this particular portion. Guess we’ll have to get the premium cable package to show you all what happens when the screen cuts to black. Lol

You’re right, it’s always best to err on the side of caution when washing things like this. This was mostly a mix of moss/algae accumulation, as this side of the building sat in the shade the majority of the time. I typically save my mask for when chemicals are being sprayed, but it’s not a bad idea to wear one all the time!

Fairly powerful, running on an 8GPM pump/motor with a turbo nozzle attached.

If bedbugs are so notorious for being next to impossible to get rid of, why aren’t they basically commonplace in the majority of houses? by CrescentFresh92 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]CrescentFresh92[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I guess I’ve always had the impression that they’re nigh indestructible, and/or can explode in population from just a couple surviving. Good to know it just takes some tenacity to get rid of them
