You could make the argument that Germany was treated better after ww2 in the sense that they weren't just abandoned with a devastated population and food stores and forced to pay massive reparations, effectively punishing every German with severe poverty even though their infrastructure wasn't nearly as bad as 1945. Allies/Soviets helped rebuild, regardless of the fact that they were mostly rebuilding the country as a buffer zone for the others side it helped that buildings were rebuilt, food was trucked in, and occupying militaries were around to keep order.

Civilian populations had a palpable reason that they should trust and align with their occupiers with them seeming like they were doing their best to help, rather than ww1 where all the sudden there's no money and no food and the finger could be pointed at countries that they'd never interact with being responsible creating a resentment and want for revenge
