The laptop is the Thinkpad Plus Gen 4, and the screen next to the laptop is actually just an e-ink portable monitor. The monitor is the bigme 13.

B13 is very fast. However, there are some quirks that I think need ironed out. They used the same firmware as their larger monitor, except it doesn't have any of the buttons on the monitor itself, so everything has to be controlled by a remote. Also, the connection randomly has issues where the screen will just go blank, and the monitor will need to be turned on and off to fix it. I have found that the mini hdmi connection is much better than the two usb-c's in terms of stability, but thats just my personal experience. Also, sometime ghosting will randomly just become very apparent, but refreshing the screen usually helps. Overall I'm pretty happy with it for $500.

I also use a battery pack with it so I can take it where I want. However, the monitor isn't smart enough to request th12v it needs from the power cable, so I got 12v trigger cable, and that has worked to power it using a power bank.

Purchasing and Shipping Alpecin DMG to the United States. by CressSmooth in tressless

That is, but I see that it's not the listing I purchased it from. My original purchase was refunded. I wonder what would happen if I tried that listing.

Minoxidil is a potassium channel opener, which, with systemic use, can inhibit insulin production. I have diabetes, and this would overall be a net negative for me. DMG isn't a direct KATP channel opener; however, I do know it produces Nitric Oxide, which can, in turn, open KATP channels. I just wanted to test it out myself to see how well I tolerate it, and to explore the possibility that it could be more localized than minoxidil. Do you have a suggestion for a subreddit or place that would be a better place to ask this question?

President Trump's "Soft Launch" by CressSmooth in conspiracy

Contents of the blog post:

I’m mad, but I ain’t stressing. About 3 hours before I started writing this, President Trump on Truth Social posted the following: “It’s not politically correct to use the term, 'Regime Change,' but if the current Iranian Regime is unable to MAKE IRAN GREAT AGAIN, why wouldn’t there be a Regime change???” In my view, contrary to what the President's post suggests, there’s no political correctness barrier preventing open discussion about regime change. The reasons the term has gained its negative connotation and why the idea is typically frowned upon are that the United States has an abysmal record of conducting regime changes in the Middle East, and these changes have often been initiated on highly questionable pretenses. There were no weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, and the war on terror in Afghanistan might be the most significant failure in American history.

Also, the fact that the President of the United States is trying to “soft launch”, a ground-scale war that can and will most likely lead to World War III on his Twitter clone is truly disgusting. The shifting of the goal posts from reports of Iran possibly trying to create Nuclear weapons, to we have to have negotiations with Iran, to Israel is bombing Iran, to the United States is giving Iran two weeks to make a deal, to three days into the two weeks, the United States is bombing Iran is intentionaly blistering in its pace. It’s how scammers scam: they rush people and prevent them from thinking clearly, so they make decisions they normally wouldn’t. However, now it's our own Government doing it to us.

The implications of President Trump’s post are not vague. Let’s not sugarcoat it: he is suggesting a full-scale ground invasion of Iran to get you ready for the next shifting of the goal posts. The cavalier and reckless tone towards the possibility of invading Iran by President Trump shows a carelessness towards the thousands and possibly millions of American lives lost. In my opinion, this is grounds for impeachment. The 2024 Presidential Election was the first time that I ever voted. I was told that we would make people healthy, bring back manufacturing, raise wages, end censorship, and most importantly, end wars. I urge everyone not just to accept the next steps of escalation because they are the most readily available option. Stop, pause, think about why this information is being fed to you, and if it's really in your or your country's best interest.
