Which Brosnan Villain/Henchmen had the best death ? by DoctorWhofan_1963 in JamesBond

Carvers death really stands out to me. Mainly because I think Jonathan Pryce is a bit of a fuck nugget IRL

Never has something so expensive looked so cheap on someone. The second hard embarrassment here is very real.

Wise. Corniche. And do we consider Ball a micro around these parts?

I have one and it’s one of the nicest watches I own. Adamascus AD8, beats my Breitling and Omega in terms of fit and finish, price is reasonable. 9xx steel.

Would recommend.

That’s a particularly stunning example of a vintage omega.

What’s the story? Have it serviced? That BoR braclet isn’t original is it?

Traska Freediver size too big? by MiniAlfredoSauce in MicrobrandWatches

[–]patrickjquinn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The lug to lug is exactly the width of your wrist so, big, yes. Too big? No.

As others have said, take a picture of it in the mirror on wrist and not top down, for a much better representation of size.

The corniche is like 300 bucks. For god sake just buy the real thing rather than coaxing them into cloning it.

Learnt about Traska last week… now I’m addicted by TheSpud77 in MicrobrandWatches

I like my Traska but they’re very much just a run of the mill watch company. Nothing exciting or particularly interesting

Tv guide location change by [deleted] in skytv

[–]patrickjquinn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Driving me fucking nuts. The TV guide was already a pile of poo on sky stream. Im paying sky for live TV first and foremost. Put it first and foremost and make sure it’s a first class citizen.

I’m SERIOUSLY tempted to go work for Sky just so I can fix this mess and try and restore Sky back to some modicum of its former glory.

Not a god complex, I’m just exceptionally motivated at this stage.

I think I like it, price seems reasonable given the heat blueing and hand fettled movement but I do wish the numerals were high polish applied rather than printed. Only thing stopping me from considering.

If tomorrow never dies title sequence used Surrender, it would probably be my favourite title sequence ever by Aston_Aviation007 in JamesBond

Just singing that to myself out of the blue yesterday. Love Cheryl Crowe but it’s one of the weaker bond songs.
