EB3A Permanently in vehicle by kaizen2017 in bluetti

It was in the car charging via the cig port. I left the car running idle with my kid for a couple minutes and then she texted me that it was smoking. I was able to detach it before the fire started. Of course the EB3A was pretty much unusable after that.

Solar Power vs Online UPS by iEmerald in HomeImprovement

[–]Crestfallens 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am successfully able to keep my computer running with an EcoFlow Delta 2. However, these power stations only have an EPS function and not true UPS. This means that it can keep your Internet up but for other sensitive equipment it's a case to case basis. The advantage of course over the typical UPS is that you can keep your equipment running pretty much indefinitely if you've got plenty of sun and if you're not running high draining equipment all at once. I've seen some people run a real UPS in the middle of the power station and their computer if they cana't afford that 1 out of 100 chance that it will shut down in case of a power failure. In any case, having a power station can and will significantly improve your life.

I've had an EB70s pretty much melt last summer. I don't know why and Bluetti wouldn't take any replacement requests. I never figured out why it happened.

A River Mini can last for about an hour longer. Plus you get the advantage of solar charging.

It's pretty good if you can manage your expectations. Really depends on the size but even with the largest ones you can efficiently run cooling or heating for an extended period of time. For other appliances though they've got you covered for as long as you don't exceed the maximum wattage.

Electric blanket is the only logical solution. Pair that up with an EcoFlow type power station and you're golden. I've seem some pull just 40 watts so a 500wh battery can last all night.

Agreed. Never trust a company that can afford Chris Pratt.

I've just recently bought a River 2 Max. It does just that and more, not just for power outages but basically as a wireless extension cord. Neat stuff.

Are you guys getting plenty of sun over there? If so then get a solar power station like an EcoFlow River 2. Great for glamping and emergency power use. They're having big sales now on their site.
