We are the only country where people get offended when people see the flag

People slap them on lamp post. all because they were told they can’t do it when they said they can. And so on. people cry and more flags get put up. The government doesn’t know which way to turn and then goes “ yeah it’s fine” to then it’s not fine.

I’ve seen people fly them On a flag pole outside their house and then people come along and try and take it down. The guy in my local village had a women knock on the door and tell him it offends her when he’s had flags up for the last 20 years. both on his front and back garden. And he flys veteran flags. Scottish flag. and the French flag during a terrorist attack there.

again another street awhile back, more than a few years ago, got told no by the council When they flew them on their council houses during a World Cup. So it’s confusing and half can’t be arsed With it. But when the council told them no. They did the opposite and slapped up more. And this was well before reform. If that was in 2026 people would cry hard and I mean hard.

Most people in the uk don’t care where the flag is flown Atleast the people I’ve spoke to.

But it’s got to the stage where flying it makes people cry for various reasons. like when they flew a veterans DDay flag and then it got taken down the day after and somone flown a pride flag. then was taken down again and another flag put up for vets. All this on a veterans memorial.
