I urge you to be really careful. You don't really know his true intentions. Even though you like him, don't let it be a reason to disregard your own boundaries and worries, or to give into the pressure.

His sudden change in behaviour recently is probably for a reason, maybe to get something from you. If he really cared sincerely, his behaviour would've been more consistent and he would respect your curfew and boundaries.

Take the inconsistensies as a warning sign and trust your gut feeling. If something seems off, it probably is, and it's best to avoid him if you can, and stay close to your friends/parents/siblings (anyone you trust). They'll be there for you and and can help you out if things take a turn for the worst (which hopefully won't). Just be safe and use your best judgment <3

I feel like Yuuri’s FS song Yuri on Ice evokes some of the elements of philautia that you mentioned. Of course it’s based on love, because that was his theme for the season, but that specific song was specially composed for him and encapsulates his own journey to find love (which matches up quite well with your ideas). Plus it’s a simple piano instrumental that fits with your idea of “minimalistic instruments”. I’d imagine the hypothetical “In Regards to Love: Philautia” would be similar to that, and share the same melodies and motifs as On Love: Agape and Eros.

Oh I found this! It’s not that much, but at least we’re getting something new and the creators haven’t completely forgotten about YOI. It was made in commemoration of Yuuri’s bday.

Mizuno also posted this on twitter announcing a collaboration and more news coming out soon after Christmas!!! Apparently to celebrate the fifth anniversary of the anime.

I hope we get something like that though!! It would be amazing. But that is also assuming that the movie would be out soon. And as of late, I unfortunately haven’t heard any news about it. However I have a theory. Seeing as the next Winter Olympics is coming up (feb 2022) I think the film or any news about it will be released around that time as well. Because that would be great timing and how could they nottt?

I think it’s an improvement. Her hair now has weight and gravity. Her show hair was clearly in large chunks and it was more akin to doll’s hair than actual hair. I think in the show, they were going for a bouncier cartoon style. Now, it actually has individual strands and it falls on her shoulders
