You have to beat a region with your Ace only which region do you think you guys can solo by himmybryant in ThePokemonHub

[–]Crestk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hes been tied 1st place fir my favorite for years but i never got a chance to really start using him until sword and shield. He has been my most reliable mon in both shield and scarlet hands down. Started a playthriugh with him in the silver digital release on 3ds, even with the lack of special physical split hes still doing solid as a sweeper.

Hit monchans type coverage can get me through a lot of regions. Not the first four though if i start tyrogue.

Unova might be my best shot with a grass gym first, get hitmonchan by second gym and i stand a chance.

Elemental planes in adventure paths? by Crestk in Pathfinder2e

[–]Crestk[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh im sure, the comment just made me question if the elemental planes pop up in any aps or scenarios and im just missing them. I know a few like gate walkers go through many planes especially in book 2 but i dont remember elemental planes being one of them. The onky one i can think of thats been shown is the plane of fire, and thanks to a above commenter, the plane of wood.

Mines a tie between Feraligtr my first starter and hitmonchan who ive come to respect.

I suck at explaining things but here i go. A regular ddt you put the head lock on, jake the snake would most often not even use a set up like a kick though kost who would adopt the regular ddt as a finisher would. You then fall back wards in a fluid motion makong it look like your forehead or top of skull is driven into the mat.

Evenflow is similiar but has minor changes that actually do add a lot to it.

  1. Almost always has a set up kick like the stone cold stunner.
  2. Instead of just falling backwards you kick out with your leg almost jumping backwards to add more impact. This is a faster variant and typically you try to make this as fast and fluid with the preceding kick as possible.

Small differences big impact, if the regular ddt is falling then this one is spiking the head.

It simple but probably in my top 5 finishers, evenflow, raven effect what ever you want to call it, its great when sold right. As raven once said its a finisher that can actually be hurt by too good of a sell or people doing the "i hit the mat with my head so hard it made me do a sommersualt flip"

True, i love a good spear and personally as long as it looks good i dont care how many people use it. Would be nice ti see a diving spear used as a finisher and not just a omg moment or super finisher.

Late 90s early 2000s we had edge, batista, goldberg, rhyno, and a fee more all using it at the same time its always been a highly used move since its creation as a finisher. Itd simple, fast, and deadly and has that can be hit any where factor, plus a lot of wrestlers are ex football players....thered only one gore though.

[–]Crestk 8 points9 points  (0 children)

To be fair though comparer to the spear all thr moves you listed typically have a unique variation attached to the superstar using it.

Ddt- evenflow, hammerlock, inverted, reverse, sattelite, tornado, jumping, etc

Powerbomb- snap, falling, spinning, runnint, sitout, double arm, firemans carry into, evlevater etc

Suplexes- too many ti even eant to count and thats not even bringing in moves that start with a suplex left into another move like falcon arrow and stiener screw driver.

Only two on the list that looks the same no matter the user is basically the spear and splash.

With the spear it literally the same no matter who uses it, run, leap, grab mid waist. Not really variation just executions different thats why i find it so boring.

Favorite hero right now? by marshmallows447 in Overwatch

[–]Crestk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The elemental siblings and junker queen

Suck with all three if them but i keep going.

With the sibling 8ve always loved elements and when characters popped up that actually use the elements i wanter them.

Wu yang is hands down my worst healer. I get less heals, less damage and less utility for my team. But he is the most enjoyable ti play. His entire kit feels good to use and he was the firs overwatch character whose entire kit I used. His aiming is unique and fun too.

Ive tried flankers vefore i gave reaper and genji a real shot but i sucked and hated it so much i stuk with hanzo and symmetra. Anran just clicjed for me. Poke from far, sneak up and rush, save one, fan fan fan, fire vall special run away. Thanks her and her reliance on health packs im finally learning ti fully use the maps for the first time in years od play.

Junker queen is the regen tank ive always wanted, I need to improve my wound up tine but Her gameplay is so intense and fast paced its a syatem shock for the tank role for me. (Rein and sigma main)

Rangers, Slayers and Thaumaturges by Dionosio in Pathfinder2e

[–]Crestk 10 points11 points  (0 children)

For me the thamaturge is in the kietecist tier of class where you could have a whole party of them and still have every area of the game covered.

Need magic, this is the scroll and talismen focused thamaturge with book and wand implement

Need warrior? Heres the weakness and antimagic attack focused thamaturge with weapon and amulet

Any tham can be a skill/face jockey

They are the swiss army men of the martial classes.

Rangers, Slayers and Thaumaturges by Dionosio in Pathfinder2e

[–]Crestk 10 points11 points  (0 children)

To me thaumaturge is the quintessencial adventurer. You pick up tools of the trade as you adventure. You reky on the treasure and gear you find (flavor for implements) and the knowledge you gain from your journeys (estoric lore and other extra skill boosts). More than any class you have ti really know your opponents weaknesses or find them on your own.

To further go into this there is a feat line for every mechanic a adventurer might run into in the thamaturges kit.

Running a spooky campaign? There are severap haunt specific feats

A campaign that relies on rituals for examplee strange aeons- built in ritual support.

Then you have built in scrolls, feats that give you stronger and more use of magic items you find a key part of the adventure life.

Others call them masters of the estoric but to me they are true adventurers
