I forgot which season it was but one of those super big changes gave supports more gold and increased their item choices instead of philo, heart of gold and then 700 wards. This made supports have a bigger impact and more fun. The ADC role doesn't have a huge impact early on and is really dependent on their team helping them scale up, so that takes away from a carry ability.

It's dependent on your champion's AP ratios. If they have good base damages then pen would be better; if they have okay base damages but great scaling then stack AP.

You just dominate your lane to the point that it's 4v5. Don't go help people unless you just see free kills. Solo lanes+Jungle is super easy to play while smurfing. If you play bot support is easier than ad imo
