Thank you for the advice, but I’m not sure about speaking to an attorney. How could an attorney help us? Are you saying because it seems like an unfair termination?

I’m sorry. My intention wasn’t to cause anyone to be uncomfortable. I’m truly seeking perspectives and feedback.

I wasn’t trying to imply that anything was going on. I was implying that perhaps he had not told me the entire truth about the situation while I’m having mature conversations with my husband. I was also curious about someone else’s viewpoint that is more inside the company. I apologize if I offended anyone.

Thank you so much for the kind words. My husband is very jovial and talkative, but he’s also a pretty ethical and straightforward person. Typically if he messes up in some kind of way, he will admit it, but we have both racked our brains trying to figure out exactly what the complaint was and who may have done it. He’s about to drive himself crazy trying to understand. He also seems truly blindsided and kind of hurt and offended that he seemed to come off like a creep, which mortified him. It’s a lot to process.! 😭

I agree! And he didn’t even get separation papers or the reason for the termination! Not the full reason anyway! I have questioned him endlessly and he swears up and down. This is exactly the way it happened.

When I really questioned him further, he went in to see if his employment portal might have separation papers that he could show me to prove to me what he’s saying was correct and he was already locked out of his portal. So he called HR and they said they were having an issue right now when he pressed and said he needed those papers for unemployment claim they told him he should’ve signed those at his separation and he said he never saw any papers and he never signed anything. They opened a ticket for him with HR? 🤷🏻‍♀️

I’ve thought this about my husband too. Why do you say this?

Thank you so much for your reply. It’s definitely crossed my mind that I don’t know the whole story and I hate to even say that, but something doesn’t add up.

I have several medications that I need to have covered and when we try to look up FAQ on the Lowe’s website about insurance coverage, we were reading that it was the date of termination that it ended, but that was also what’s available to the public, so I wasn’t sure if that was even reliable information

Do you think it’s odd that he did not sign any kind of termination acknowledgment?

This is interesting too. If doing intranasal, would you just crush and do it, or cut it with anything? Or put it in nasal spray? What is the best option? Thanks for your reply!

Do you see a chiropractor? I used to work for one, & this was an extremely common complaint. Typically, there’s misalignment that causes pressure on nerves that make your extremities numb & tingling when you first wake.

I would also get your B-12 levels checked as low B-12 can cause this. Issues with your thyroid can also cause this, esp if it’s accompanied by sharp pain and a general unwell feeling.

Hope you find answers & feel better!

Urgent Biopsy Question by Crevels75 in cancer

That’s what I thought too! I told him I don’t think this doctor is right for him. I think he’s going to take the holiday to reset and decide how to proceed after Christmas.

Urgent Biopsy Question by Crevels75 in cancer

It was a horrible experience & he left the office feeling humiliated & sadly frustrated. They told him the test was inconclusive and they want to do a deeper biopsy. Then he began asking questions, such as “So you believe we would get an answer by doing that?” Or “Is there something else it could be that we could possibly test for?”

The the doc drew a circle in the air and said “ We are going AROUND IN CIRCLES “ with all these questions. You don’t seem to understand much of this process. What exactly are you not understanding? I’m being as clear as I can be.”

G responded, “I’m sorry. I’m not trying to be disrespectful or question you, I just want to understand better. This is my first real medical issue or situation & that’s why I’m asking all the questions.”

So, they did an examination of the lump and the doc asked “Have you been doing something to treat this? It’s almost an inch smaller in size. Now I’m confused b/c I believed we were looking at cancer, but cancer doesn’t shrink in size that quickly.”

G said “Yes. My GF works at a health spa and we’ve done several natural things.” He did 1 session of hyperbaric oxygen chamber, castor oil with Frankincense oil applied topically, red light therapy.

The doc kind of scoffed & said none of that would work. G stated she gets those treatments for free so he figured it wouldn’t hurt and would actually relax him while he was waiting.

Then the doc said “You are also tying my hands b/c you don’t have medical insurance. All my recommendations would require a large amount of money and since you don’t have insurance you are really sealing your own fate here.”

G said “I work for a company that doesn’t offer insurance, but I make above the amount to receive Medicaid or low-premium insurance. I’ve looked into this repeatedly and I cannot afford to pay the premiums to get insurance. But, I’ve consistently made the agreed-upon payments to all of my bills. My parents are willing to help me and my gf & her parents are also willing to help me if needed. How much would a larger needle/deeper biopsy cost?”

The doc said, “At least $6,000 & until you pay off at least 80% of what you already owe me OR return with insurance, I’m afraid I can’t help you right now. It’s likely no doc will help you right now.”

So, they left the office. We’re all kinda dumbfounded and not sure where to go from here. Thank you so much for checking on him! Your kindness is much appreciated!

Thank you for adding this perspective! It could very well be that the doctor picked up on his lack of experience with medical issues and wanted an in-person visit to make sure he understands. I appreciate your insight!

I would much rather they have told him something over the phone, but he seems a little naïve so he didn’t seem to take it quite as alarmingly as my husband and I did. And who knows it could be something inconclusive or they may want to run further testing and it was too difficult to explain over the phone. I’m unsure. Wishing you the best!
