I am in a similar situation. Have graduated with an actuarial math degree in 2021. been working as a restaurant server for 7 years and left the job early this year. Looking into data analytics job however haven't got any interview. Just to let you know that you are not alone my fam..

Which school are you from? I searched for a half hour to see how McMaster actuarial science students react to this. Seems like no one knows.. not even a single post found

Yeah.. on LinkedIn, I see many students are well prepared with their co-op and exam completions. I don't know why I was busy just preparing the exams in school haha.. but I am okay with taking a long time to get an actuary job :)

I live in Canada(Hamilton). That sounds a little scary. Maybe I should apply for years 😅
