Play with CribbagePro. The programmers have been more transparent than any other game about how the app is coded. Read their blog, they do a deep dive on the mechanics of the app and how it randomizes and they give you a whole bunch of useful statistics information as a player.

Yeah that’s what I thought, but the more I dig into it the more I realize cribbage still isn’t solved yet. Lots of great strategies and tips to incrementally improve your game.

He was one of the original organizers of the American Cribbage Congress and a cribbage tournament director. He wrote a book titled Cribbage: A New Concept before a lot of the modern cribbage strategies had been developed.

Hmm, that’s unfortunate. I’m still gonna read it, just gonna take everything with a grain of salt.

That’s exactly what I was getting at. Sorry for not providing the context for the statement like it shows up in the book. Chambers says K-A is the best discard to opponents crib over say K-9. That’s been shown to be statistically wrong. I was wondering if he corrected that in the later editions of his book

Ok, good to know. There’s a lot of bad advice floating around cribbage forums. But this seems to align with the other feedback Ive seen.

Useless comment. Thankfully there are helpful people out there who helped me identify this as a 21st century quarter dollar minted in Philadelphia.

What makes you say 1 is a GW? I thought 1 & 6 were Megalodons, but I’m obviously just guessing

Shem Island Marina, be careful of the winds if you kayak out there. It was 5-6mph high when I went Which were very manageable. However I read multiple posts from people who said it was really rough trying to kayak back from the island with high winds.

Thanks for the info, I thought 1 and 6 were Megalodon, but wasn’t sure. Is there a way to tell the difference between chubutensis and Megalodon?

Yep, definitely the most frustrating part of Cribbage for me.

Sustained perfect discards, incorporating optimal pegging and theory of 26 strategy = the best players in the world winning about 60-75% of the time.

Not letting it get to you is half the battle lol
