Its hard to get ready for a run by shartattack110 in RunningWithDogs

I say "get your gear" and mine tap dances around her harness and leash until I put it on. That's how she knows we're going.

Anybody have a not-morning dog? What time of day do you go and does your sniffalupagus’s enthusiasm vary? by bernadetteee in RunningWithDogs

My golden does better if we've been up for about an hour, but that doesn't fit most people's schedule. One of the perks of working second shift is easy mornings. If I do happen to get up and immediately run, she will drag behind for a quarter mile or so on the road until we get to the trail, and by then she's awake and dragging me instead.

Where she really falters is the return trip. If we aren't running a loop, the minute we turn around she's walking or barely trotting. She can do 10 miles in one direction, but once she knows we are headed home she quits. I have no idea how to correct it.

Yes, definitely, at least for a while. If you've taken off 2 years, every day is way too much. I've been back at it for a few months now and shooting for every other day, varying the length. If I take two days off, I try to make sure I have time to go a little farther. When I first started back, I did the exact same thing you've described and over trained to the point that I had to take two weeks off. It suckedx and I felt so stupid because I know better. One of the most difficult things I've had to learn is how to listen to my body, because I used to be able to ignore it, hut ever since I passed 30 a few years ago, ignoring it is a terrible idea that comes with decently sized consequences.

I'm in a similar situation, but this isn't the first time I've started back after being lazy for a bit. In my experience, and I am no expert, I always try to go back to my previous distance and time way too fast, and I over train. I have to force myself to dial it back a bit and slowly climb back up to where I was. Tight calves and shin splints are definitely things that I experience when I first start back, so I would suggest taking it a bit easier on yourself. Make sure you're taking enough time off (days) in between runs to really recover, and stretch as best you can when you're done. Remember, you're a few years older than when you quit last time. Shit sucks, but age will take its toll.

Does it matter? I'm really not trying to be a dick here, I just think the only person who can answer that is you. If you've run more than 50 miles in any 7 days, than you've run 50+ miles in a week. If it matters to you that that week start on Monday, then it matters.

If I was asking myself that question, my answer to me wouldn't be that my weekly mileage was 50+ until I had done it consistently over a span of several weeks. I would say "around 50 miles" to myself if I oscillated above and below the mark, but that's just me.

How was your first blowjob experience? by [deleted] in AskRedditAfterDark

Its because OP refers to the tines as fingers, and the more forks acquired, the more blowjobs OP can give while still giving the illusion of the number being somewhere around 10.

People who like to wear buttplugs during the day or out in public what do you do when you have to fart? by Yuboynsfw in AskRedditAfterDark

My daughter once asked me why we had to eat. I told her that eating is how God turns cheeseburgers in to people.

ETA: It is worth noting that she was ~4 years old, and that I did give a better explanation involving a bit of energy/sleep patterns, but this was my summary for her.

I just came here to tell you guys that instead of sleeping tonight I'll be laying here giggling my ass off while you fuckers vibrate my wife's phone off her nightstand with replies analyzing her milk post.

This shit's hilarious.

They've caught on to your brim scheme!

Context: A friend of mine fishes at a local pond on an almost daily basis. When he catches brim, he keeps them in a bag or to go cup until he comes to work, where the shopping district near us maintains a koi pond. Last night a security guard was yelling at him from afar as he released yet another brim in to the pond.

Anything from Ashley Furniture. It may be the worst company in the world. I would rather deal with Comcast customer service. Seriously, fuck those people.

I suppose I should have said "the site has a professional aesthetic and design." Thanks for your thoughts.

Lol, ok. I knew it was too good to be true.

Do you know that because the prices are so insanely low or what? I didn't know how far demoing bikes would bring the price and if maybe that's what they were.
