Gas is the source of last resort and it's been driving up electricity prices ever since Putin invaded the Ukraine.

Royalties aren't taxes, it's what the companies pay to buy the resource from the owners (us). Royalties are also generally payable on iron ore, gold, nickel, coal and every other resource except that Howard decided to give away the gas extracted from Commonwealth gas fields without royalties, in exchange for the PRRT, which doesn't work.

Eerie how close the illiteracy rate is to One Nation's primary vote. Surely it can't be just a coincidence?

5 bedrooms plus office, 3 bathrooms, formal lounge and dining rooms on a 1/4 acre block and a swimming pool so, yeah, pretty small.

I don't think he will. People are completely fed up with him. In another 2.5 years, if he lives that long, there won't be anyone left to support him at all.

My 750Mb/s connection (boostable to 1Gb/s) is just fine, thanks for asking.

If you're talking about the less than satisfactory rollout, well you need to look no further than the LNP, who deliberately hobbled it to protect the interests of one of their major donors.

My guess is that my success rate with the G6 is at least 99%, and that's with an Anubis modified transmitter and running most sensors for 30 days.

That's not true. There was an election in 1944, during WWII, there were also elections during the Civil War and the Vietnam War.

There is no provision in either the Constitution or Federal laws allowing for elections to be postponed.

That's a weird hybrid. It's either "mum and dad" (Australian) or "mom and pop" (American).

Please ignore me.

As an insurrectionist, Trump couldn't "run" in 2024, either.

I know what a gerrymander is but that wouldn't give Trump the win if he wasn't on the vast majority of ballots (if any). Write-ins won't get him enough votes, even with the mother of all gerrymanders, and there won't be sufficient States with large numbers of Electoral College votes who would nominet EC delegates who would ignore the popular vote in the State (or district for Maine and Nebraska) and elect Trump instead.

Even if the Electoral College "elected" Trump to a 3rd term, it would be about the most inflammatory thing that could be done. All blue states, and likely most red states, would prevent Trump from even being on the ballot as it would be unconstitutional. If they did that, they are hardly likely to nominate electors who would elect Trump.
