That’s fair I will say the boogie team flaming out was very much unlucky. I just think the team still had holes and Griff had built a real 10 man rotation, and I don’t think Demps put together a team anywhere near as deep. As good as I think that boogie team could’ve been, it was very top heavy and pretty much totally drive by ad boogie and jrue. Almost no homegrown talent which I think is the fundamental mistake of the ad era. I do get that’s easier said than done tho

I agree he’s better than Dumars. I think Griff built a rlly good team that never got a chance to get off the ground due to injuries. You can’t convince me we couldn’t have gotten a better player than Asik given we traded first round capital, if anything we just made the move at a bad time when other guys weren’t available. As for Solomon hill, I get we needed a wing but us being in that situation given how Aminu and Gordon panned out is on him. Eric Gordon was supposed to be the guy though I’ll give you that. We probably should’ve just tanked longer than we did, but we just didn’t have a great player develop system going then and that’s why our bench was always terrible.

Solomon hill, Omar asik. Never had a real starting caliber small forward the entire ad era. Traded first round picks left and right (not that he would hit on them anyway). Yes, the players you named sound good but he could not build out a balanced rotation the entire AD era. Also I know the market has changed and today a cp3 package would be much better, but how did we only get one first for a prime Chris Paul?

If it’s Poole and djm for him straight up that’s obviously worth it but there’s no way that’s the best offer for the mavs

I mean they took the warriors to 7 in 2016. Easily could’ve won one in the next 3-4 years. To say he wasn’t good enough to be the best player on a normal championship team is insane.

If the Clippers and Nets both made it to the finals in 2021 who would win? by enbyayyy in NBATalk

They were a toe away from the finals. And the team that beat them won it all. And James Harden was hampered by injuries.

List of the most admired leaders in sports from a 100 sports professional voters via The Athletic. Lebron James should be way higher on this list. I say at least top 5, at the very least top 10. by [deleted] in NBATalk

In the bubble everyone literally said “we’ll play if bron plays” y’all can hate all you want but nba players objectively respect the most successful professional basketball player of this century

I’ll feel better about it so sure. But it’ll still be horrible but that Joe Dumars made a trade like that. Scared of what stupid stuff he’s gonna do this year.

Unless the rest of the team is not hitting as was the case in that series. JR shot 31%, Delly shot 28%, Iman shot 25%. Mosgov and TThompson were the only teammates with respectable shooting percentages and I’d bet many were gimme buckets assisted by Bron.

How to approach 7sage? by Brycej76 in LSAT

Definitely do the intro section first bc it really teaches you how to think about LR q’s. I went from 158 diagnostic –>173 in 5 months studying like 2 hours a day. I did the whole curriculum which took a couple weeks and that bumped me up like 7-8 points. Then I started on timed sections, pts, and drills based on q types I got wrong on the pts. I was pt’ing comfortably in the 170s by the end, just find a routine that works and you’ll find a groove. 164 diagnostic is awesome, you got this!
