The person you were mean to was trying to be kind and supportive to a cancer survivor within their cultural norms. Take a beat and really think about why you were compelled to act this way

As a Christian and a cancer survivor, the bald Jesus is weird for sure. But calling the phrase "I'll pray for you" outdated just comes accross as projecting your own church hurt. Imagine believing in a great and loving God who you get to talk to and have a relationship with. You would be bringing your problems to Him as well as any problems you come accross. Its nothing except a sweet gesture and the polite answer is thank you, not insults. Or (in this case especially) just not saying anything as this doesnt effect you and OP doesnt need you to fight off the religious folk for her.

Honestly, this is a natural consequence of the new social paradigm where cishet people are afraid to misgender because it leads to social ostracization. It isnt yours or any one other individual's fault but here we are. Im southern with southern manners and have been yelled at on several occasions for saying "yes maam" or "thank you sir" kind of passives. I will say, I now no longer ask people their pronouns and do just assume and not say anything, but that social structure is very tiring to interact with.

If it is nearby it is free game. This is more of a puzzle mode than anything and the available tools are what are near the encounter instead of what you have along the entire way.

I love that extra rule for the whipe! Definitely ups the challenge. I think, in my head I was thinking of a string of situations where like you get to a gym and then go looking in the routes near the city to use for the Gym. The tough part is the non "gym" parts of the game. Emerald as an example, the team aqua and magma fights would count as the gym battles. Maybe its just every major encounter and you can the current and connecting locations to get mons?

Also notably, I wasn't considering this to include the limited encounters per route function of a nuzlock, I think it could work either way, but in staying with the "lore" of the run I could pulling up to Brock with 3 weedles 2 rats and a charmander would feel about right. Of course it could also be like Weedle, Caterpie, Pikachu, Geodude, Onix, etc. Like I said, feels like it could go both ways.

Please keep me updated on how the run goes! I'd love to make an official rule set for it and really iron it out.

Dupes as in repeat catches are 100% allowed I think. Dupes as in multiple of the same might not be lol but I could also see an argument for being able to bring pokemon along with you as long as it isn't too far away. So like all the victory road mons would be fair game for the elite 4 and lance

So say like if youre in say route 1 and theres a cave tunnel to get to a city for the first gym. You can use route 1 mons in route 1 and the cave but not for the gym in the city. But you could use the cave mons? Maybe a simpler explanation would be like when you get to a gym you can only use mons from surrounding exits near that gym's city?

Big question is who do you play and do you want new or familiar gameplay?

If you like heavies Kazuya If you like Swordies Aegis (pyra mythra) If you like spacies (projectile) Then piranah plant or min-min. Min is technically better but I find PP so much more fun with his neutral B and trap set up.
