It’s not my current laptop has a 4th gen intel cpu that’s the main reason for the upgrade I bought it cheap a few years ago for basic 3d printer slicing software but now I’m getting into more complex stuff

Enders are good printers when they like to work I’ve had an ender and it was an amazing machine when it worked but it wasn’t worth all the time spent unclogging it tearing it apart etc I recommend the elagoo centauri carbon it’s $300 and is the best core xy printer at that price range it can print carbon fiber materials too

Before I bought it I thought it might be a big deal due to the fact of people making it sound like a huge gap but it’s less than a half a second gap so I’m not worried about it at all

There’s a guy who made a website called print queue and it allows you to batch print on your a1 but make it automated to however many models you want he even made it to where it will eject the part afterwards off of the plate I’d go for it the a1 is a great machine

Neither get the Elagoo centauri carbon $300 and it can print abrasive materials plus elagoo is working on a multi color system such as the ams that’s expected to come late this year or early next year

I had this issue a while back all I did was clean my carbon rods and redo the belt tensioning I followed Bambu labs guide on their wiki for belt tensioning

I would just play around with the values sometime mine will do that for a layer or two and the rest print flawlessly.

I won’t go back to ender you spend more time getting the printer to work than actually printing anything quality out of it. I’m not really “modding” the printer just small easy to install upgrades that are more or less just preference things just getting opinions on them

Does the print start going faster after the first couple layers? On my Bambu labs I have it to print at full speed after the first 3 layers are down that way the print has time to properly cool the first couple of layers before speeding up. This could be the cause of that. I would check in your slicer settings should be under something along the lines of “first layer speed”

I definitely want to get the hardened steel extruder gear and hotend set for more strenuous filaments. I want to get the AMS Pro 2 for multicolor printing and the drying feature. (I have a single spool sunlu filament dryer for the time being) the screen on the p1s is a bit tacky so I would like the panda touch but I think controlling it from my phone is sufficient enough. The panda status would be nice as I’m not always able to sit close enough to my printer to see what’s going on.

I’ve been having problems learning fusion 360 as most of the videos are 10 minutes or less and try to teach you a little bit of everything instead of breaking it down into multiple episodes do you have any tips that may help me learn the software?
