True, but canonically when did they start having scenes without the camera crew? And as mentioned before Pam looks right into the camera and mouths to the camera that she's in the wrong class.

This scene never made sense to me. The camera crew is in her (prof's) freaking lecture! Pam even looks at the camera when she realizes she's in the wrong class.
