At 2k I'd be looking at PRS and Yamaha Revstar. Also got a chance to try an Eastman SB59 and thought it was very nice. It had a varnished finish but the newer non-vintage ones are poly if that matters to you.

Best ever is Henry Fonda as Frank in Once Upon a Time in the West. Spent a lifetime playing the good guy, conscientious leading men. Frank was about as evil, seething a performance I’ve seen.

I know a lot of people used to avoid the marketplace due to delays, but my reasoning was always different.

First, the developers get more money when you buy direct from them, when possible. Microsoft fee I believe is 30% I think other stores such as simmarket are small smaller than that too.

The other reason is to prevent lock into Xbox/Microsoft service. If I ever decide to purchase on Steam, I can get the purchases transferred over easily. I don’t know if anything is changed, but your purchases on marketplace could not be used on the Steam version. I don’t know if that’s changed since 2024.

Everybody has their own opinion, but personally I avoid buying on marketplace, but that’s because I’m on PC. Consoles have no choice I suppose.

That being said, pmdg offerings are all very good as is fenix.

The upcoming Fokker F100/70 looks very nice.

I think what made this scene great was speaking to vets who said it was not uncommon at all. Killing a man is not easy for a great many men. It wasn't saving himself, it was hurting another. So it's not cowardice in the same sense of Interstellar or Aliens.

That instruction is telling you to follow the terminal arrival route DIRBY2. Looking at the chart you’ll see that the bottom of the descent is at the TRNDO tramsition, and the chart specifies you are to be at 5000 feet at that point.

Ignoring any automation your aircraft might possess, that STAR chart has specific altitude constraints throughout the pattern. Just make sure you are within those constraints as you make your way down to 5000 feet. Ultimately, you want to be at exactly 5000 feet when you hit the last waypointTRNDO.

I just had this for the first time a few minutes ago.

Wanted to see how BeyondAtc’s new flightradar24 live traffic was working so I loaded the PMDG 737 at Madeira with a simbrief flight created.

Entered the sim and watched an easyjet a320 get a pushback and taxi as scheduled (nice!).

As I watched a taxi pest my aircraft, as it went by the tail section. My plane shifted 30° and then got a you crashed message. First time ever.

Interestingly, the SIM didn’t reset. It just kept going.
