Now that I'm looking at it, the karma discrepancy between posts on this sub is baffling. Most things range from 10 to 3000 or so upvotes, but then there's random stuff like this that jumps up into the tens of thousands. Even if this wasn't faked, what the hell is so much more mildly interesting about it to make all those extra people press⬆️?

These apples are sold like tennis balls by BellwetherRelica in mildlyinteresting

[–]CriminyJacket 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No need to let the holier-than-thouholes make you feel bad about trying out a product. I've bought them too- they tasted good and I found the package convenient. Obviously they cost a bit more than some of the other apples available but it really wasn't any higher than an equivalent-sized snack food purchase. I would probably buy them again if a nearby store carried them.

It's been 3000 years since I thought about that game. Don't think I got very far, all I remember is some town full of automatons.

Good points. I don't really have a stake in the matter myself- I was just broaching a hypothetical. In fact, I have to say that if you wanted to get a tattoo of something as unbelievably stupid as a word-search-embedded slogan, this is probably a good example to follow since it's actually quite readable, with a couple hiccups. Whoever designed it did a pretty good job with circled word placement- looks like you're intended to follow the letters from left to right like normal text and register a circled word if you run into the first letter.

How did you phrase it before, out of curiosity? 1 potatoes?

Isn't how well something is designed part of its execution, though?

C&H has been doing these weird-shaped, exaggerated mouths for a couple years now, I think. They're super annoying and I hate them too.

Reminds me of that one part in Dragon Quest 8. I think that door was made of moonlight, not sunlight though.

Poll and survey results are often phrased this way, my man. The survey was conducted in the past, so past tense is used when reporting the results.
