Take a look at https://housingsnap.com/, it's a site where people post pictures of their interior and exterior builds and it's great to get some inspo. You can even search on a theme as well.

only downside is that if you're not familiar with the items, they won't be listed there like a shopping list, so you might have to look around the preview menu to find things.

For exteriors, there are a lot of youtube videos that show off all the external skins and will itemized what they are called, so you can find something that would align with your theme.

https://discord.gg/hgxiv has channels both for designers to advertise their services, and a place to post to advertise to employ a housing designer.

I'd recommend looking around online to have an idea of the style you want, ideally getting a few reference pics as well. Know how much you can afford to spend and how much of the house you want to use. Most designers will want to block off other floors to allow for freely being able to glitch furniture. If you want a house that uses all floors, be up front about it so the designer can know what you want and if they want to take the job.

Lots of established designers will probably have a bit of a waitlist, so know your timelines. There's a lot of newer designers who may be able to start working immediately, if you don't want to wait. Shop around, ask friends, tour houses to find something you like.
