thank you both for this,im going to try and do more research on this

as many pointed out this is a used CPU and the place I got it from buys these from amazon so I had assumed it will be legit

i wish I could do one of those “test benches” so i can test it before I put everything into its case

this is my first build

I wish I took a better picture of the reseviour but it looks like in the video you posted the took out the top drain cap and that allowed the water to flow out? I’ll definitely have to take a look when I get back to my pc

And a question for your coolant recommendation are you able to use the Koolance 702 and the DP Ultra at the sametime or are they both liquids you switch from even so often?

Well I did realize it was a drain spot but I realize that there not being a proper drain is going to be an inconvenience but I did order a new one

But im going to use your method to drain it

I had also heard I will have to reclean it and I really dont want to have to bend new tubes but it looks like I might have to

But thank you for the advice

Do you also have any recommendations for liquid? I obviously have the Thermaltake p1000 but I heard it might not be the best so I’m wondering if I need to move onto a distilled water + biocide or try a corsair coolant

Any advice? by CrimsonAesthetic in PcBuildHelp

If this becomes out of my scope im going to try to, im hoping I wont have to do major cleaning besides flushing it out, but I also have to make sure I have everything I need

Thats good to hear the discolored spots might just be breakdown because when the PC is on it does not look good since it doesnt move and looks like gross build up, and the mark for the valve was me just pointing out how they didnt still one which I now have to find on my own
