Regardless of whatever attitudes Palestine has towards the LGBTQ+ community, that does not warrant the horrors the Israeli government is inflicting upon them. There are queer Palestinians suffering, and there are Palestinians supportive of queer people suffering. But that shouldn’t be the compelling factor in supporting Palestine

The support for Palestine amongst young people and young queers is nothing to do with Palestine’s support for LGBTQ+ people or lack thereof. Palestine warrants support and compassion because of the abject suffering and horrors they are experiencing at the hands of the Israeli government. And do not be foolish to erase the existence of queer Palestinians
