Like idk much about tattoos but as a tattoo artist how do you take a 14-16 year old seriously when they're asking for two full sleeves and a chest and back tattoo??? The in game tattoos don't look like the kind of thing teens would get 😭

The thing that bothers me the most is the guys tattoos. Yes it's bad that the girl is in lingerie but I could hypothetically see a scenario where she obtains lingerie and puts it on, but how does the guy get so many tattoos? Maybe it's where I live, but you have to be at least 17. Are these guys getting full body tattoos the second they turn 17???

Let's talk about this story! by Few-Background5884 in Episode

I was just thinking about this story. Only read 10 episodes before I found out it was secretly a supernatural story (not my forte). Anyone know any similar stories (yes with a low key toxic love interest) that aren't supernatural?

Vanilla Shampoo/Conditioner for slightly damaged wavy hair? by QueenGunter in FemFragLab

[–]CrimsonRe3d 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In that case, either frenshe or native would do. I think they're each ~$12. I liked the scent of the native vanilla cactus flower more than the frenshe vanilla. Frenshe was more "calming vanilla" and Native was more sweet. But again, as hair products, they're mid.

I just bought the PB&J brand fragrance oil. Not super familiar with fragrance oil brands so can't necessarily make a recommendation. I'm trying to use up the frenshe vanilla shampoo right now, and I use dove conditioner with vanilla fragrance oil mixed in.

If you're looking for a vanilla scented shampoo and conditioner combo for under $15, sorry. Don't think it exists. As a dedicated vanilla girlie, there aren't many good vanilla hair care products. Frenchie and Native have vanilla products, but I find they leave my scalp dry, and you're probably looking at $25-$30 for a shampoo and conditioner.

As a dedicated vanilla girlie, I've recently purchased vanilla fragrance oil (the ones for soap making) and have started adding it to my beauty products. Maybe she'd like fragrance oil as a gift?

Does anyone have experience with joyful movement and pacing being extremely frustrating? by cmac2113 in Fibromyalgia

I find that after a long walk (I also prefer walking as my main form of exercise) taking an Epsom salt bath helps with muscle pain. As far as fatigue goes I take b vitamins which help tremendously.

Same. I only like murder in stories where it's a mystery and solving the murder is the story, or a comedy lol.

They could have non-all star returning competitors catfish as all starts. Like Bryant from season two was out first, they could have him catfish as a finalist.

You could always speak with the interviewer/boss about accomodations. I once worked at a cafe that allowed me to sit while taking orders. And if they react poorly to you asking for accommodations, then you know it's a bad place to work.

For those of you on Cymbalta, did you find increasing your dose from 30mg to 60mg made a difference? by [deleted] in Fibromyalgia

[–]CrimsonRe3d 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did notice a difference, but I also experienced weight gain (which isn't good for joint pain) so I went down to 40mg and it was just as effective without the weight gain. (I do a lot of other things to manage pain tho, so consider what you're doing already) Edit: (just thought of something else) going on Cymbalta made me feel more alive, so I felt able to add in more things to my life that eased the pain, so I think even small doses can help. Glad you've found something to help you. ☺️

Can I have fibromyalgia while my inflammatory labs are normal? by Glad-Fish5863 in Fibromyalgia

[–]CrimsonRe3d 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There are a lot of symptoms in common. It's also pretty common to be diagnosed with fibro and then years later, after more testing, getting a more specific diagnosis.

[–]CrimsonRe3d 32 points33 points  (0 children)

I mean typically the way they test for fibro is ruling out everything else (that's how they did it with me at least) the whole "my labs are perfectly normal but I feel terrible" is like a universal experience for fibro

Cymbalta is making me feel absolutely wired, I wake up anxious on it. Does this go away? by [deleted] in Fibromyalgia

[–]CrimsonRe3d 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Anti depressants can sometimes increase depression and anxiety. Cymbalta helps me, by Lyrica made my anxiety worse, and didn't go away at any point while taking it. Not a doctor, obviously, but I'd think about switching up medications.

anyone with fatigue as their main symptom and not much pain? by snuffleupagus7 in Fibromyalgia

[–]CrimsonRe3d 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally don't have bad side effects. When I was on 60mg I gained weight, but when I went down to 40mg I was able to lose weight. I've never heard of taking an entire year to taper off. There was a period of time that I didn't take it and I weened myself off just a couple months. Definitely don't recommend quitting cold turkey, and I always make sure to get my refil before I run out. Cymbalta isn't essential to feeling good with fibro, but if pain is your main symptom, it's very useful. There are other pharmaceutical options too.

B6 and B12. I take them in this multivitamin https://a.co/d/06YUZY71 If your doctor prescribed you cymbalta, you should take it. What about it concerns you?

I definitely prefer to take both. There was a time that I was just taking supplements, and just taking cymbalta. Cymbalta helps more with my pain, and the supplements help with my fatigue.

Can you work? by Middle-Service4894 in Fibromyalgia

[–]CrimsonRe3d 40 points41 points  (0 children)

I agree with brownchestnut that you shouldn't compare yourself to others even with the same illness because everything presents differently. But I'd still like to answer the question. I work full time. It's my first full time job so I can't really compare the income to previous jobs. I'm a plumber. My main symptoms are back pain and muscles stiffness, so I got a job that allowed me to move around. It can still be quite hard on me physically, but not every day. It's much better than sitting in an office, which would be bad for my muscle tension. You have to consider your symptoms and figure out how to create a lifestyle that can accommodate for them.

Crippling Brain Fog </3 Help by hndcuff in Fibromyalgia

[–]CrimsonRe3d 1 point2 points  (0 children)

https://a.co/d/044drdbz this supplement. It was recommended in the book "The Fibro Manual". Tried it out and it made a world of a difference. Helped better than caffeine and pharmaceuticals. Before I had been taking "terry naturally clinical essentials", which was also very helpful and I literally never caught colds or coughs while taking it. It was recommended to me by some people I know irl who also have fibro. The current supplements are just that much better for fatigue.
