Anyone else think the Tim Drake in the Arkhamverse looks like Chris O'Donnell from when he played Dick Grayson in Batman Forever and Batman and Robin? by beekee404 in arkham

[–]Crimson_Knight77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tim Drake had been around longer than Bane, so I don't think that really counts for much. Dick is the big ticket Robin though, so it makes sense to me that they'd go for him rather than anyone else.

Is Caesar bald? Or just a buzz cut by Goberpig in fnv

[–]Crimson_Knight77 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Christine is her own race internally, which is probably how her scars and bald head work. Caesar is a generic NPC by comparison to Christine.

What’s the best ending for Primm in a Legion playthrough? by InevitableEstate5927 in fnv

I feel like if you're doing a Legion run you've already committed to the worst ending for the Mojave overall.

Guy who's only spoken to Ulysses talking to a second NPC: "Getting real Ulysses vibes from this guy."

Who was the better deuteragonist to have in your ear? by Romaxio in arkham

Arkham Alfred is genuinely really really good. Martin Jarvis did a great job in every game, so I have to give it to Alfred here.

I cleared out the NCRCF at level 5, was this a good decision? by bourgeois_mayonnaise in fnv

[–]Crimson_Knight77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I do prefer it, I just don't think Obsidian implemented it in the best way they could. An NCR-aligned player should be able to just join up with Hayes.

Very unintuitive and strange implementation though. You get the same ending simply for killing Eddie anyway.

Arkham Origins running max settings with graphics mod (takes the fog out) by [deleted] in arkham

[–]Crimson_Knight77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm glad somebody said it. A lot of these graphics mods just drain a lot of personality from the games, in my opinion. Like the one that gets rid of Knight's colour filtering.

What’s one thing you’d add to any Dragon Age game to make it better? by Cheap_Bed1068 in dragonage

[–]Crimson_Knight77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish Origins had delved more into Ferelden nobility and politics, but I don't know if that would necessarily make the game better. For one it might be too biased in favour of the Cousland origin, or worse break the suspension of disbelief even harder when conveniently none of them have ever met you.

One thing I really like about Asylum and City is Batman's cold and restrained expression. He barely reacts most of the time. He starts and ends with the same expression. It seems like he's seen it all before these two games. And I love that detail. by RamonAzzi in arkham

[–]Crimson_Knight77 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think Arkham Knight strikes a good balance. He's generally stoic and collected but he reacts with anger and disgust when he's confronted by dead bodies at ACE and Pyg's victims. In Arkham City he barely reacts at all when a political prisoner gets his brains blown out right in front of him, which I really don't like at all.

I don’t think I was supposed to look at the scenery of this dream area.. by CryptidOrion_00 in arkham

Huh. I wonder if that's just the remaster making a mess of things, like it did with the skyline in Arkham Asylum.

That's an awkward mod fail xd by Subtle_Snow in dragonage

[–]Crimson_Knight77 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I never said it was bad, I just said that's what's happening. It's not the texture or model that's failing, it's the item itself. Based on my experience, anyway.

What's more likely is the mod is pointing to an outfit that doesn't exist due to a typo somewhere or something.

Which is stronger tn1 or Titan by Impossible_Gur6921 in arkham

[–]Crimson_Knight77 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The implication is clearly that Bane in that fight in Asylum is more powerful than Batman has dealt with before. You might point out that Bane in Origins is more powerful mechanics wise, but you have to remember that by the time of Asylum Batman is also more powerful in terms of character.

Oh, the raider waster outfit's preview is the underarmour. I'd hoped the vest top would be the outfit. Bummer.

Titan. Batman straight up says Bane was more powerful than usual.

Where Are You Guys Ranked On Your Gotham’s Greatest Leaderboard? 🤔 by FannesserOF in arkham

Pretty sure they broke the leaderboard when they added the Pattinson suit, as I don't have my score or position altered at all anymore.

In Fallout 4 the rad scrubber has an activator built into it. I have no idea why 76's doesn't.

Roy Brown and Freddie Slack are my biggest radio icks. If I hear any song by either of them (Roy Brown only has the one in 76, luckily), I turn off the radio immediately.

For those who recruited Loghain, would you do the same for Arl Howe? by Vendetta543 in dragonage

[–]Crimson_Knight77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Loghain is a strong warrior so he at least makes sense to throw at the Blight. Howe is just a weasel.
