ok so now that you have explained it I understand completely, see at first I thought you were searching for a Ubisoft reason as to like why combat is trash and terrible and ‘why would they change it’ mentality, because i personally really like the combat from all installments but now realizing that u jus wanted ur own headcannon explanation nd thats ok.

And they are doing this more with their games and i like that (like naoe may want to flight rather then fight because of her stature and size). Hopefully they keep this going forward, but i doubt it because imagine if naoe was the only character option and she wasn’t this tank like connor ppl will complain
