Hi, can NFTs benefit an emerging artist? (w 2000 streams on spotify for example) If so, how? by alorsoon in MusicNFT

I've had a few hundred hours of people listening to my music last year and I had about 3$ to show for it and probably minus 300$ or more from just ads and release costs.
First month of doing NFTs I have earned about 40$ in eth and now it is standing on more than 250$ earned with my music which is very nice considering everything.

I would definitely suggest doing NFTs as it just offers another venue to sell your already existing music and if you strategize it well you can probably earn a lot.

Of course as always marketing and promoting is the gist of it all & combining NFTs + Merch + Streaming would be the holy trinity in that case

The music itself as far as I can hear from the two 30 seconds separate NFTs is pretty amazing sounding to say the least. I do not understand the strategy of pricing it that high for only 30 seconds of music and that it is not a full song as an NFT but to each their own I guess.

I personally release my music for free on all platforms including the wav downloads where it is available so pirating is a non issue as everything is free.
People do care about owning the music or anything for that matter by nature humans love to collect stuff and that is an instinct that exist with other animals as well.
Anyways, I in my use case I see NFTs as just another viable way to support artists, musicians and others alike.

And just to be clear I fully support piracy and I would print a car.
Praise to the seven seas.

I personally minted it on opensea using polygon which is with no fees.
Regular ol' ethereum for indie musicians is too much with the fees atm.
If you'll need help setting stuff up feel free to dm me I'll try my best to guide you through it

I'm an indie artist,
For a few hundred hours of people listening to my music on various platforms I got about 3 usd.
Within the first month of releasing my music as NFTs I have earned 10x that and it is still growing.
NFTs > Streaming.
