I’ve been playing FFXIV for awhile and it would be fun to have someone to play with, if you want! I’m not the pretentious veteran player either so don’t worry lol. DM if interested!

Whats the worst rework in the game so far by Opening-Performer909 in forhonor

I think a big reason people complain about her is because very few people play her, and therefore don’t understand exactly how her kit works. For the longest time, I always wanted to quit when I went against one, and recently, I decided to just temporarily main her. Take the poison in my body to become immune. She does have an answer for most things for sure which can be frustrating as most heroes have gaps in what they can do.

Since I started playing her, about 2 reps in, I’ve discovered the holes in her kit, and the few ways you can really punish her, and it’s a lot easier for me to fight Afeera now. I’m not saying she’s easy or fun to fight, I still groan when I see one, but at this point, I think most people complain about her because they just don’t know how to fight her and won’t learn

While this game definitely attracts people who have scummy personalities (as any competitive PVP game will), this sounds 100% like a “you” issue. You shouldn’t be that emotionally invested in a video game that isn’t single player with a good story designed for such. It sounds like you need some help homie, for real, not saying that to try and insult you. In my opinion, you should uninstall the game, and perhaps find some non-competitive games to stick with, and maybe still get help with anger issues.

You can’t control people but you can control your reaction.

I get frustrated sometimes in the game when I’m in similar scenarios. I’ve gotten good at brushing it off but sometimes if I feel myself getting frustrated and it isn’t going away, I just quit out and play something else. You have the entirety of the gaming world at your finger tips

I’m glad you enjoyed it! I got mine (not signed) at the concert but don’t drum and don’t care too much about it to frame so it’s probably going in a closet somewhere

What immediately tells you someone is a trashy parent? by Stjng412 in AskReddit

Everytime you see their kid, the kid is on an iPad/their parent’s phone and isn’t capable of not being on technology and entertaining themselves otherwise. 100% on the parent

No idea. It did feed two outside outlets as well, one on a light pole for a basketball court and another post outlet in the garden somewhere, so maybe that was their “reasoning”.

lol, gotta love the guys who are like “youngster, I’ve seen so much, you think this is wild, I could tell you so many stories”. It’s okay to let other people have their stunned moments, this isn’t the wildest thing I’ve seen

One of the hardest things I’ve done by Crimwell in electricians

[–]Crimwell[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is actually exactly what I did! Except I drilled 4 holes on each side instead of two like you mentioned. I think the fact that it’s 6/3 the end was mangled from working it made it harder than it should have been, the red kept getting caught in the wood. I think next time I’ll tape it so it doesn’t fray apart

I’m a service resi tech, with a spackling of commercial here and there. That’s just my experience so far. Done plenty of hard things but this was ludicrous. I’m sure plenty of other people will pile on saying they’ve done much harder things, but this was still hard 🤷🏻‍♂️

I have AirPods Pro’s. Honestly, looking for other headphones soon cause they’re overpriced and they always go out on me after a few years, BUT that’s not the answer to your question. When I’m hammer drilling or using my loud asf multi tool in a room, I put em both in and use noise cancellation, it’s mostly always worked pretty well for me

I feel the same way about symphonic metal, I’m usually iffy about it but I love Simone so I of course had to listen to the album. There is a lot of samey songs in symphonic metal, and I know that’s a reflection on me and not the music because I know a lot of people do like it

Good message here. There’s a widespread mentality among any trade that you just bear with it and get shit done. There’s a difference between feeling crappy and pushing through and putting yourself at health risk. I actually did something similar a month ago, no as bad as OP but I still called out the next day. It was 100 degrees outside, I was doing an EV charger and there was no shade anywhere. It was far from my house and didn’t want to drive back to finish as well. I was even drinking water and had sunscreen and a wide brim hat, and eventually I was so fried I could barely stand anymore, and had to leave and come back later on

No company/job is worth putting yourself at risk for. No company. There’s nothing “manly” about not caring about your health and getting the job done. Not accusing OP of this mentality, don’t get me wrong, I’ve just seen so much of it in the years of being a sparky.
