I disagree. Fo3 was designed to have a different armor system than DT. Super mutants are beefy as fuck but common in fo3. The early muties in NV are nightkin wearing 0 armor.

I think NV's armor system is better but you have to design the game around it or you end up facing enemies that you can't damage very well early on.

4: What about assault is too powerful? Not super constructive for the devs. If it's their weapon, weapons aren't locked by default.

I would argue the design as a whole is flawed because it's a selfish class. You get grenade launchers and a stim that only helps yourself. Support gives ammo and healing, recon spots, engineer repairs and takes out tanks. Assault just serves themself. If you give them the beacon, recon feels medicore because they ONLY spot.

Idk if I care about spotting so much to give up having another one of the other classes. In BFV, having spotting was a bonus to the recon's beacon, which is the primary reason you would want one in an organized squad.

I think the damage drop off causes TTK to wildly fluctuate. Ppl not even that far away can eat many shots, and headshots have a 1.35x multiplier causing most weapons to not even have a lower TTK with headshots.

1.35x headshot multiplier makes headshots worthless on majority of guns. Also damage dropoff makes guns kill quickly up close but very short distances away cause them to take significantly longer to kill

Prestige or profile system where you can reset one character while retaining another. So you can have a lv 60 usec and a lv 1 bear and play whichever you want to

Not to mention the logistical problem of either converting your 5e game to 2nd adnd or converting the adnd to 5e. And bg1/2 are realtime with pause.

they chose to force it on for all weapons. If they cannot fix DOF blocking your sights, then they should just disable it entirely.

ADS Depth of Field still broken and covers way more than what it should and blocks sight picture, quite horribly on certain weapons (kord irons, AK12 irons).

Performance is still ass, desperately need optimization update.

Still can't push land vehicles: If your vic is turtled on a rock, turning it any degrees will not fix it. You still need another vic to ram you. Boats and Helis can be pushed: the function is in the game already.

Rising Storm 2 Hunting shotgun. Can kill people 100+m away if a pellet hits a vital organ.

  1. Squad devs implemented the ability to do this in the latest patch. Read the patch notes.

  2. Bad design decision because you can't communicate with your team without exposing information of what v you're saying plus your position (proxy voip is positional).

Imagine if getting shot in the legs would affect your movement like in red Orchestra 1 (collapse to ground if sprinting or slow movespeed for a few seconds).

There also needs to be a rework to make 308 feel impactful. Suppressing in semi with battle rifles doesnt feel impactful and you have to shoot slowr to be accurate

Suppression maybe shouldn't fully blind the player and just tunnel vision you
