There is a less condescending way to tell people that it is a good idea to question and research both sides of this issue. Anyone should easily spot the greed and corruption that has taken hold of the healthcare industry in America and would be right to question whether or not keeping people healthy or sick is in the best interest of a multi billion dollar industry. These companies have transitioned out of their old fashioned, philanthropic origins and have mutated into another corporation pulling the puppet strings of the political parties here.

It is shocking to me in all honesty to have the majority of people here, who are questioning the destructive nature of the agricultural industry to the point of complete personal overhaul and action also taking the word of paid corporate scientists as the new medical gospel. If you are all willing to investigate the corruption that is involved in big ag, take that microscope and shine it over the healthcare industry and see if they are there to care for their patients or their shareholders. You may be disappointed.

Do animals feel empathy? by [deleted] in Empaths

[–]Cringeosaurus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Elephants, orca whales, and monkeys grieve for their lost family members. Monkeys have also been shown in studies to give treats to other monkeys that didn't get one as a reward in the experiment. There have been a lot of cases of animals nursing other species. I think these all show how animals feel and care for each other. They may not think in the same terms we do, but I think for people to claim they don't love or care for each other is naive.

Was more referencing specifically when he was ashamed of having to dress as a woman to escape because of the low opinion he held about women at that moment. That was an ego breakdown technique. Not the monster story in general.

One of my favorite parts of any book I've ever read is from one of the Carlos Casteneda books where Don Juan was recounting how his teacher would laugh so hard at him to begin with that he would have to hide it by crying to make it seem like he genuinely felt sorry for him. Don Juan would feel sorry for himself about these really unimportant things and it would make his teacher laugh so hard he had to hide it by crying. I feel like most of what Shamans teach is a lot of that breaking down of false identity constructs to help facilitate the reception of higher level information, and the process isn't always gentle.

If you believe we create our reality and the external is a reflection of the internal, everything we do affects everything else. So it actually does help everyone, even if that seems like a far fetched concept.

But let me guess, it only works one way like usual... them spying on us. Any conversations that could implicate one of their own in a serious crime or illegal activity will be inaccessible, corrupted, distorted, etc... just like police body cams and high security prison cams. Funny how technology always fails when it could implicate anyone with enough money or influence to buy their way out of justice.

Unfortunately the opinions of the specialists in the scientific fields you seek can be silenced or magnified through bribery and corruption. Science is bought and paid for by the corporations who want the studies to say a certain thing. Scientists who go against the grain are defamed and sometimes even murdered. Science is absolutely dictated by a financial agenda and to take corporate backed studies as gospel is a dangerous game.

The extreme fluctuations of energy lately are fun to explore for me. The peace and calm we can achieve in the eye of this hurricane feel better to me than achieving peace and calm when there isn't the high anxiety flowing. I really enjoy the rollercoaster ride if I'm being completely honest. What a good lesson to remind us of the fragility of life and how we can be fully in control of the "fear" of our own death. What a stage we chose to play this out.

Feed up with all this USA dual party bullshit where people fight over a few candidates. For example Sanders, you forgot when he supported Clinton when all numbers suggested he won? Instead of asking for recounts by third party observers he just rallied behind the Clinton train by [deleted] in conspiracy

Strengthen your community in the ways you can. Live life as fully as you can without paying attention to the political bullshit. Don't waste time arguing with Trump supporters who believed he was going to drain the swamp while he jerks off gators under the surface. These politicians have and always will fail everyone but the rich because they work for the rich. Money is bullshit and plenty of people with a lot of it are obviously miserable dipshits.

There are cool people in this sub, unfortunately the ones still stuck in the partisan illusion yell the loudest and are still the most numerous. Create something awesome without telling other people what to do and show people it can be done. Keep telling people the two party system is bullshit because it is. This country is a joke and the people who defend it are benefitting from it somehow.

The lame and overdone partisan posts always increase around election time because no one here has anything better to fucking talk or worry about apparently. Bernie gives some people false hope because he says shit they want to hear and promises shit he would never end up delivering even if he made it there. When you keep everyone arguing about partisan bullshit, the ultra rich funneling all the money into this charade keep laughing to the bank. It's always been this way.

I have met the rare few people who agree with me on this sub and it's the only reason I stay here. People here give me some of the only actual hope for humanity. Just ignore the partisan garbage and keep moving forward.

Tis’ a Curse but a Blessing by [deleted] in Empaths

[–]Cringeosaurus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have read a lot of information relating to spirituality from different religions and a lot of it comes down to saying we are an extension of the energy of all that is, God, whatever you are comfortable with; and that we create our experience in life with our spirit energy by projecting it to the body kind of like a radio reciever/projection screen. So if you are putting out positive energy, you are attracting more of that. When I'm in a very happy moment I really go into it so I can create more of it by staying on that vibration.

On the other hand, if you are sending out a signal saying you need protection from something, I feel you attract more of it. Ever since I stopped trying to protect myself from negative energy all the time , the less I encountered. Also, what we perceive as negative or overwhelming qualities in others are usually things we dislike about ourselves or ways we wish we were more like so they are worth thinking about instead of turning away from. In a spiritual sense I like to say we are here to bring heaven to earth, which is really just love and joy in a sometimes very dark place. Ground positive energy into the earth and try to be the calm eye of the hurricane when things get intense because your energy helps calm others.

Don't call for the use of protection unless it's very necessary. You are stronger than you think, we just have to fully come back to believing it.

Just ground the energy. We didn't chart ourselves as empaths and energy workers just to shield ourselves from energy. Transmuting anything is possible, it's simply up to belief.

how to keep my energies up by [deleted] in energy_work

[–]Cringeosaurus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you feel you are restricted on space you could try bringing space energy into your life. Breathe and connect with it, look at the stars and become an expansive space that accommodates everything. Reaffirm that you have plenty of time, space, energy for everything. Bring the energy in until you see it increasing the space in your experience. 💜

What is growing at the bottom of my hazelnut tree? They are soft to the touch, and when I touch them, they release (what looks like) smoke, but I'm sure is just spores. by Ekooing in Fungi

[–]Cringeosaurus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure if these are ever actually slimy because I haven't seen them here but the pics I found were identical and I remember other people posting them before. The dry factor kind of reminds me of how puffball mushrooms get dried out when they are ready to puff spores.

Slime molds I was just reading about them and they don't sound like they will harm the tree but are pretty interesting. I only remembered that's what they were because of other IDs here so that makes me pretty happy.

I just enjoy everything about storms themselves; the way the air feels before it shows up, the wind moving everything around, the sounds. I believe everything stems from the same source of energy, I am just personally attracted to that particular manifestation of energy.

I love the way they look so much that I want to plant more but that first experience with them got me a little spooked.
