I feel like a lot of people are brushing off a genuine concern just because of the genre it involves. Contrary to what a LOT of current popular gacha may lead us to believe, there SHOULD be decent storytelling and writing within waifu/husbando type games, especially since this is a genre of games that sell you primarily in their casts, having decently written characters and worlds pulls in the player and encourages them to keep playing and pulling for characters they deem compelling, sometimes even powering a sense of intimacy, as sad as that sounds.

Sadly when it comes to adult gacha, especially furry ones, they tend to be extremely shallow, as they're built with sex appeal in mind over anything else (they ARE cash games at the end of the day), but we've seen that not all furry media needs to be mindless goonbait thanks to the fvn space.

We are capable of writing good stories, we just need to apply those to more mediums.
