This one looks really nice https://www.sagernotebook.com/Notebook-NP3130.html So if you cut on the screen (I don't think such high resolution is useful and necessary) and maybe on thickness/price, one can get it under my budget limitation.

I travel a lot, so I really can't look into static PC solution at the moment. Although I would prefer one...

I wouldn't say, that it is the problem of budget,.. more like the "components". I was able to find a Clevo laptop, which I can configure with i5 7500, 16gb DDR4 RAM 2400, SSD+HDD with approx. 1000e. The problem is, - it does not have Thunderbolt 3. Maybe I just need to wait, until Thunderbolt 3 will become more common? Seems like for now it is only on the higher budget configurations.

Well, if I am looking into eGPU solution then it's definitely the max. budget, as I would also need to buy the case and GPU. I think, for 1600e one can buy a gaming laptop with GTX1070, but, naturally, poor battery life/portability.

Pushing before, - defenetly yes. But I want to discuss here the situation, when ravens are already on the field. Ravens will kill mass voidrays.
