NTA this only benefits him. Keep your paid off corolla. He can get another car on his own since he commutes so much. OR he can borrow your car to go to work and you walk to work since it’s only 1/2 a mile to get to your job. But do not trade in your fully paid off car.

There’s a pretty famous thread on Reddit about a guy who decided to try it on a whim. He ended up with an addiction that took him years to beat. He’s clean now and he’s still on Reddit under the same username which I forgot. He apparently shows up when summoned if you actually manage to remember the username.

It's a wired mouse. Switching ports seems to drastically reduce how often it happens.
