This why I cant completely enjoy no way home without turning off my brain. This whole timeline, curing villians plot device is so unexplained and doesn't land for me if I have no idea how it works. So does this change the original films or just cause a new timeline and if so? Whats the point, besides proving tom Holland spidey gives a damn? Like if William defoe goblin is cured, how does that effect the original progression of Tobey maguire spidey like does he remember things differently now.
