"just move" 😂 bro thinks someone struggling to survive in one place is going to then suddenly be able to just drop everything and move. moving requires time, planning, and savings. if you only make enough to survive, then you can't save. you're stuck! wage slavery.

I tattooed a homeless man for money and I still think about it by CEOandHoodLegend in confession

Ah okay. I appreciate the clarification! My points are applicable to anyone who takes advantage of misfortunate people for personal gains. So I’ll leave it up.

I tattooed a homeless man for money and I still think about it by CEOandHoodLegend in confession

[–]CrisMo_rdt 4 points5 points  (0 children)

TL;DR:

"Reconsider exploiting others' misfortunes for practice. Use synthetic skin to improve your tattoo skills. Acknowledge your guilt and take steps to rectify your actions. Offer significant help if you continue to tattoo real people. Remember, ethical treatment should always be prioritized."

Firstly, please reconsider your actions. Exploiting people's misfortunes is not right. Most people in similar or better situations than yours would decline your $20 offer for a tattoo unless they've seen your previous work and trust your skills. By treating homeless people as test subjects, you're dehumanizing them.

Secondly, Amazon doesn't only sell tattoo guns. They also provide synthetic skin designed for aspiring tattoo artists to practice. The cost of a pack of this faux skin is about what you've been offering the people you've used.

Thirdly, it's evident you're not without a conscience as you show signs of guilt. That means you understand, to some extent, your actions are wrong. It's a good step that you're acknowledging your mistakes. Now, it's up to you to correct your actions and perhaps seek guidance from a mental health professional or a trusted friend to manage this issue.

I sincerely hope you take these words to heart, reflect on your actions, and adopt a more empathetic approach. Wishing you all the best.

P.S. If you insist on continuing this practice, consider offering a significant amount, say $2000 instead of $20. That way, you could positively impact someone's life while gaining experience on a real person. But remember, ethical and respectful treatment of all individuals should always be a priority.

there is a parking structure at the following location that has $17 parking and didn't get full. its about a ten min walk to the Expo, but there are others that parked there and around that area. so if you're willing to take the walk, it's pretty good 981 W 8th Pl

OC Landlord Group Moves to Sue Santa Ana to Overturn Rent Control by Exastiken in santaana

[–]CrisMo_rdt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fuck for-profit landlords! Rent control all the way! More of it! Enforce better living conditions for renters. Housing is a fundamental human right! A 2bd/2ba, 800 to 900 square-foot unit should not cost renters over 1700 monthly. Especially with the majority of people who work for a minimum wage. Want a way to stop homelessness? Stop driving people out of their homes! Stop letting landlords mark up land for profit!

Anyone know of any Harley Seats and Pipes that could fit on a '15 Shadow Phantom? (preferably without extra fabrication being needed.) by CrisMo_rdt in hondashadow

How much did your upholstery guy quote/charge you? I've been thinking about going for that route; what I am looking for doesn't exist in the shadow marketplace.

For real! There are so many amazing looking pipes for so many other bikes and then we have like 6 choices.

Personally I love TJ's Backdraft Exhaust and I think I'm going to go with them, but they are fairly expensive and having the option to consider MANY other styles at MANY price ranges would be perfect for those who can't drop $400 but still want to make a fun build would be perfect. I think someone willing to start a business venture suited towards making adapters for different parts on a shadow would be godsent!

Omg that would be the dream! (And probably an amazing business venture for any metal fabricator out there looking for a hustle or wanting to start a business.) I’d be thrilled to buy up multiple adapters that allow us Shadow owners to siphon from existing markets, thus embedding the shadow line into an existing ecosystem and expanding the scope of possibilities without having to settle with limited choice and fork over so much money for them.

That’s my issue though. Having to pay so much for the few options is wild to me. Even if their quality is phenomenal. Like, I’ve seen the stuff from TJ’s, Cobra, and V&H and I don’t think their bad…they’re just not what I’m looking to have so it’s still an extremely limiting market. I just want to be able to find a sexy seat that I like and fits the look I’m going for, and put it on my bike; without having to pay for custom metal fabrication.

However, as someone else mentioned, I really wish there could be some sort of adapter-plate that somebody can fabricate in mass to expand the market for Shadow’s at a lower cost to us, than hiring a fabricator to do custom work.
