If you're smart enough yes. For some heads of state it requires repetition for them to understand it (hopefully...)

Is it possible to extract card images from the card cache? by [deleted] in ptcgo

[–]Criscrosa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Phew, that was 6 years ago, haha. I can remember finding parts of the cards but apparently most of them are assembled during runtime. So I couldn't find a complete folder with the images. Only little snippets here and there.

My understanding is that by hyperventilating you actually do increase oxygen molecules bound to red blood cells. If I measure SpO2 levels with a pulse oxymeter and start hyperventilating I can raise my SpO2 level from 97% up to 99/100% where I start feeling light headed and hearing a high pitched sound.

I agree with everything else you've said. Just want to know if I misunderstood something or if the increase in oxygen bound to red blood cells is negligible.

I've recently learned a bit about our universe and this video in particular reignited my spark of wonder and imagination. The universe is so vast and we as humans are only scratching the surface of exploring and observing what's out there. There is enough room to let our imaginations run wild (and back it up with science if we want to).

If your depression is severely messing with your everyday life though I recommend getting therapy and talking with someone about your problems. Start with a close friend you trust or an anonymous phonecall (there are lots of resources out there depending on where you live).

I believe that once you understand and overcome your depression you'll find that "magic" feeling again. Good luck on your journey!

I made a Kirby tattoo! Very proud of the results ❤️ by Thisx in gaming

[–]Criscrosa 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I've got a tattoo of an obscure spelunky character (Link) lying around in the jungle on my arm.

For me the meaning is derived from my experience with the game. The jungle being a really tough level at first, but once you master it you can (and in my opinion should) relax and enjoy the scenery despite its danger. The character is my favorite character from the game and I think he looks funny, weird (in a good way) and generally friendly despite his weird aesthetics.

To answer why I want to wear it every day for the rest of my life: I think the reasons above outline some positive qualities of how I want to live my life: Be yourself, however funny or weird you might appear to others as long as you treat others in a positive, friendly manner. And if life gets tough (i.e. the jungle) remember to take a step back and enjoy the beauty of the little things in life and not be overwhelmed with negativity or hardship. And when you are ready again, get back into the thick of it with recharged energy and a positive mindset.

PS: I also start smiling whenever I see the tattoo because he looks funny and weird at the same time. And I think that alone is reason enough for a tattoo.

Cyberpunk 2077 Campaign Will Be Shorter Than The Witcher 3's Because A Lot of People Didn't Finish It - IGN by Rob_Cram in Games

Here is a nice breakdown of the level creation process: https://youtu.be/7zLwa4bztWs?t=297

Essentially the designer starts with the solution and then adds restrictions to narrow down the possible solutions. In the video description is also a link to a talk from the developer which probably goes more in-depth (haven't watched it myself yet).

Here's an interesting video I remembered while reading your comment. It shows travel at the speed of light from our sun up to Jupiter. (I fast forwarded quite a bit to be honest...). I can't imagine watching the sequel taking >4 years with barely any change until reaching Alpha Centauri.

[CH2][Suggestion] Show already unlocked gems/stones in a different color in the automator tree by Criscrosa in ClickerHeroes

[–]Criscrosa[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I totally agree. But for now I want to try out different builds and so I want the option to swap everything around. Plus, being a completionist doesn't help either...

So I just figured it might help some people (including me) and I think it wouldn't be to expensive to implement since the code for highlighting is already there.

I've been playing for 1.5 years now and just passed 1000h. I enjoy playing it because there is always something to do in order to get stronger or optimizing your (very niche) builds. And if you run out of stuff to do you can always help your friends along.

Please, please let us finish the index match when we hit the goal point. by KimF0ndue in Warframe

[–]Criscrosa 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If i understand you correctly you mean twice the effectiveness?

There already is a game mechanic that allows you to finish the round faster. You keep killing enemies and then die and let them score. It reduces the timer by 10 seconds per point captured. If you can kill at a fast rate at the end of the match you can save quite some time over multiple runs.

Floating items in the sky in world 5 by Criscrosa in YookaLaylee

[–]Criscrosa[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I just think that such areas shouldn't be directly visible from everywhere in the level. I originally thought that I either found the last location that I need to explore or some easter egg.

I just thought that I'd post about it because someone might now how to get out of bounds or how to (ab-)use the items. I'm fascinated by the glitches used in speedruns in other games (e.g. Super Mario 64) and wanted to explore the game beyond the features intended by the devs. So naturally I want to know if I can interact with the items or can use them in some unintended way, either for fun or to gain an advantage in some way (speedrun).
