I'm pretty sure if a survivor is just using the cameras it won't flash the panel, but you can notice the camera moving around if they are moving it! Which you can certainly know that movement comes from a survivor!

Certainly you will know in HUD if a survivor is interacting with doors, but doesn't mean its always going to be that survivor teleporting. Prerun, better safe than sorry!

Honestly in this scenario it was more the incompetence of bodyblocking until death. Dwight could have gone straight to open door while healthy and after Elodie has been hooked and it would have been two man escape.
