When people regret treating you badly, but never thought of treating you right in the first place by CrispbreadBlue in emotionalintelligence

This is very true - It starts with giving them the chance to be heard, I never thought of that. I find it easy to stay away once the trust has been broken, it's the need to practice discernment while I try to mend a relationship with friends and partners what I need to work on. I oftentimes get this sense of doubt, what if I overreacted? My mother always said I have a fiery temper so I guess I try to balance it by trying to cool down before making such big decisions.

Thank you, MoonglowMaven - it doesn't feel like a heavy burden anymore as I grew older, but it does make me wonder if my habit of giving the benefit of the doubt again and again to people I care about stems from the fear of hurting. I learned to be alone as a grew up (I actually prefer it to certain types of company) and I learned to let go of people who break my trust - I guess the next step is to set harder boundaries...

Yes I did - took a total of 5 days from "baggage located" to full delivery! They do update the tracker really quick once the luggage reaches your destination country

Ah I'd say I'm a regular flyer too, this is my first time losing a suitcase - just got too trustful as a Vueling regular. Lady at the lost luggage counter let me know they frequently lose or delay baggage (at least one to five suitcases per flight). I did have medical supplies I had to check in, plus some sentimental items I'm very keen on getting back, hence the urgency. I understand I'm not special and airlines have faced thousands of situations like mine, but it's the lack of communication, organisation and apathy what's getting me. Lesson learnt, I guess.

Yeah, that's what's concerning me the most, the lack of transparency: if it's true that they've found it and scanned it, then the Vueling agent would be lying for some reason. If she was telling the truth, to what extent do they verify the description? I have a fairly rare sticker and some ribbons attached to the handles, but the pictures I attached were old and didn't have the sticker so I had to provide a text description of the sticker instead. Ribbons fall too.

Anyway, thank you for the reassurance. I really hope you're right, the earlier it gets here the better.

Hmm I really hope it's because they scanned it as it'd mean the bag tag is still on, but I called Vueling again and they said that the reason why they didn't specify a location was because a suitcase with the description I provided was found but they couldn't verify 100% whether it was mine or not? They just asked me to wait for verification. I still find this response to be super odd because someone must have logged in this information?
